6 Tips to Boost Your Positive Vibes with Negative Ions

6 Tips to Boost Your Positive Vibes with Negative Ions

Have you been getting your daily dose of negative ions? We need exposure to negative ions to be more positive in our life. I know, it sounds a little backward at first, doesn’t it? Negative ions are invisible molecules that clean the air around us by attaching themselves to positive ions (from dust, smoke, electronics, car exhausts, our breathing, etc.), so they’re not just floating around for us to breathe into our system. Generally the more populated a city is, the fewer negative ions and the more positive ions.
As I write this, I’m in India’s capital city, Delhi — one of the most polluted cities in the world. Having spent the previous four weeks nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas in a town called Tapovan, Rishikesh, my love for negative ions reached new heights. I can’t help but compare the difference in how my body and mind feel in Delhi as compared to Rishikesh. I don’t think I will ever take fresh air for granted again!
Every morning a powerful breeze would howl down from the Himalayan mountains bringing healing energy from this sacred land. As we practiced yoga every morning at sunrise, the magical breeze would flow through the ashram and through our bodies creating a magical environment. The cleansing, strengthening and mystical effects were apparent from day one. Through the deep meditation practices I could literally feel the negative ions flowing into my system, cleansing, healing and creating space for an abundance of vitality and joy.
Negative ions help relieve stress, increase vitality, strengthen the immune system and so much more. That’s why we all feel so incredibly good after being at a waterfall, in the mountains or at the beach. The human body is meant to be absorbing negative ions on a regular basis, so it’s no wonder why there are so many health problems related to fatigue, depression and immune disorders. It’s no wonder why so many people find it incredibly hard to let their true nature shine. Most people aren’t exposed to nearly enough negative ions. All the technology around us has virtually eliminated the positive ions in the air — unless you live at a beach with no cars or electronics or out in the wilderness or mountains, etc.). Oh, wonderful Rishikesh!
Often people think they can escape pollution by staying indoors. It’s quite common for indoor environments to be just as, if not more than, polluted as outside. When you look around most bedrooms or offices, there are at least a couple of electronic devices. Think about it … laptops, mobile phones, televisions, lights, heaters, electric blankets and so many of the countless electronic gadgets available these days. They all release positive ions galore! Even man-made fibers in carpets, clothes and furniture all reduce the level of negative ions and increase the positive ones in the environment. The house you live in or the place you work at could very well be more polluted than outside! Combine this with other pollutants (if you live in a populated area) and you can almost guarantee that you’re getting exposed to way too many positive ions. This over-exposure to positive ions contributes to the body being in toxic overload, unless small steps are made to make your environment richer in negative ions.
Here are some tips to help bring more negative ions into your life:
-Use Himalayan rock salt lamps or an ion generator or purifier in your house and in your office, if possible. These lamps and purifiers mop up positive ions and help bring back natural harmony to your environment.
-Place potted plants (real ones) throughout your house and office. It’s very common for modern houses to be more polluted than outside, so enjoy bringing the beauty of nature into your home.
-Connect with nature. Get barefoot and walk on raw earth. The earth is charged with negative ions! Our feet are conductors to absorb negative ions, so go outside and experience a lovely barefoot walk. Simply walking on the earth is so healing.
-Spend time at the beach or a waterfall. There’s a reason why we feel so good after being at the beach or at a waterfall. Because of the crashing pure water, these precious parts of the planet are especially charged with negative ions.
-Use natural, preferably organic deodorants, body washes and creams. You can even use Himalayan rock salt soaps, which are quite mainstream now.
-Use organic sheets, towels, clothes and dishwasher and laundry detergents, if you really want to go the extra distance in your efforts to increase negative ions and decrease positive ones in your life.
So, if you’re not feeling as good as you know you could feel, it may be as simple as looking at the environment you’re in and making some small changes here and there. To me, it’s all about getting back to our true nature, which is full of joy and vitality. We’re meant to connect with nature, not pollutants, so in gratitude for the body we have been blessed with and in gratitude for the amazing planet we live on, do yourself a favor and bring some negative ions into your life.

SPIRITUAL TIME, SPACE, MASS, LIGHT AND ENERGY

SPIRITUAL TIME, SPACE, MASS, LIGHT AND ENERGY
(Last updated 8/20/00)

The "Spiritual Dimensions" section is a very deep area of study, but one that is key to understanding some of the most difficult areas of Scripture, such as those verses in Revelation where the text seems to shift between events on earth and in the heavenlies, as well as not follow a linear time line.
Consider the following quote:
Time is an accident consequent upon motion and is necessarily attached to it. Neither of them exists without the other. Motion does not exist except in time, and time cannot be conceived by the intellect except together with motion. And all that with regard to which no motion can be found, does not fall under time.
A brilliant insight from Albert Einstein, perhaps?
If you answered "probably," you're only off by about 700 years.
In as much as the above quotation sounds like a 20th century theory of Einstein, it is actually from Maimonides, the great Jewish Torah scholar of the twelfth century. (1) Actually, Einstein and his colleagues probably were inspired by Maimonides' writings, which were well ahead of their time.
The last sentence of Maimonides' quote actually pertains to God Himself. As "motion" (as well as space) imply measurement and can only apply to physical objects, and as God is not corporeal, then He is not confined by time or space. Time was created by God, for us. He operates beyond time as we know it.
TIME AND SPACE IN OUR 3-DIMENSIONAL WORLD
There are many ways that "time" and "space" can be shown to have a relationship. A simple example is found in the game of chess. Chess strategy involves interplay between space (how many of the 64 squares of the board you control), and time (how many moves that you are ahead or behind your opponent). Experienced players often "trade" space for time, having to use their intuition as to whether they are getting the "better end of the deal." Only after a beginner understands this "dimension," of the game, can he move forward to becoming an advanced player.
In mathematics, there are complex equations that cannot be solved without introducing a "4th dimension" (something beyond the X, Y and Z coordinates in 3-dimensional space). Again, without "expanding" beyond the elementary and obvious, one cannot advance to the next level of understanding.
Physics has shown that there are relationships between things like energy and mass, as well as time and space, Einstein's famous equation, E=mc2 (Energy equals mass times the constant of the speed of light, squared) was one of the first to link two such elements. Experiments have been done sending atomic clocks through the atmosphere in different directions, arriving at the same destination at the same moment -- however when the clocks were checked, the times were different, thus showing that speed through space affected time.
FIVE SPIRITUAL ELEMENTS
The concepts we call, "time" and "space," as well as, "light," "mass," and "energy," are all part of God's creation and may be considered a "reflection" of His attributes. As God is consistent in what He does, when studying the Scriptures, we should not be surprised to find that there are corresponding elements in the spiritual realm. The study of these spiritual elements plays a key role in understanding who God is, who we are, what is to come, and how we are to get there.
The following are offered for consideration:
  • spiritual time, represented by repeated "events" not constricted to the physical linear aspect of time, i.e., the Moedim (including Shabbat, Shemitta and Yovel years, and the seven "Feasts of God"). Many of these are associated with events in the Millennium or Olam Haba (the world to come).
  • spiritual space, the dimension(s) beyond our physical one, including aspects of those set on earth for us (i.e., the Tabernacle/Temple, a place where God could "reside" among us on this sinful earth.) Spiritual space is necessary for God's spiritual light to be transmitted, just as physical space is needed for physical light.
  • spiritual light, God's word and/or perfect will, either of which is a constant. "You are the light of the world," is an admonition for God's people to teach others His Torah, which is His light. (Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. - Psalm 119:105.) The glory of God is also represented by "light" in Scripture.
  • spiritual mass, any entity whose function is to implement the will of God (i.e., angels, the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit), Messiah or the Shekinah). This would also include "evil angels" (demons), including haSatan, who also ultimately serve God's purpose.
  • spiritual energy, the result of the work of; angels, the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit), Messiah the Shekinah or demons --   i.e., miracles or revelation
The Sabbath is shown to have a time-transcending character, as seen in the mystical teachings of the Zohar, and is directly tied to the Millenium/Olam Haba:
Soncino Zohar, Shemoth, Section 2, Page 88a - Therefore the Sabbath is more precious than all other times and seasons and festivals, because it contains and unites all in itself, whereas no other festival or holy day does so.’ Said R. Hiya: ‘Because all things are found in the Sabbath it is mentioned three times in the story of Creation: "And on the seventh day God ended his work"; "and he rested on the seventh day"; "and God blessed the seventh day" (Gen. II, 2, 3).’
Soncino Zohar, Shemoth, Section 2, Page 88b - The unique character of the Sabbath is expressed in the words: "Between Me and the children of Israel." And because the Faith is centred in the Sabbath, man is given on this day an additional, a supernal soul, a soul in which is all perfection, according to the pattern of the world to come. What does the word "Sabbath" mean? The Name of the Holy One, the Name which is in perfect harmony at all sides.’ [Tr. Note: This idea is based upon the mystic significance of the three letters of the word Sabbath, shin, beth, tau.]
Soncino Zohar, Shemoth, Section 2, Page 205b - ‘The prayer offered by the holy people on the Sabbath is of three parts, corresponding to the three Sabbaths, but being in essence only one. [Tr. note: i.e. the Sabbath of the Creation, the Sabbath on which the Torah was given, and the Sabbath of the Millennium.]
Our definition of spiritual space has to do with a place (and means) by which God can "reside" among His creation -- especially in their sinful state.
The first place we see the idea of God creating "spiritual space," is in creation. According to mystical Jewish tradition, the purpose of creation was to provide God with a "dwelling place in the lower realms." Eden was a place where man walked with God, in the spirit (ruach) of the garden. This "space" was corupted by the sin of Adam and Even, and they were banished from it.
God's process of redemption brings us to Mount Sinai, where once again, sin (the golden calf) gets in the way of the plan. In order for God to reside among his people, He needs to create a spiritual space that is not tainted by sin -- first, the Tabernacle, and later, the Temple.
Recall that Moses built the first Tabernacle and its elements according to a heavenly model. The Zohar (3) states that God made everything in this "lower" world along the same pattern as that in the "upper" world. A similar thought is expressed in Midrash Rabbah:
Midrash Rabbah - Genesis II:2 - NOW THE EARTH WAS TOHU E.V. ‘UNFORMED’, etc. R. Abbahu and R. Judah b. R. Simon [gave the follow-ing illustrations]. R. Abbahu said: This may be compared to the case of a king who bought two slaves on the same bill of sale and at the same price. One he ordered to be supported at the public expense, while the other he ordered to toil for his bread. The latter sat bewildered and astonished: ‘Both of us were bought at the same price,’ exclaimed he, ‘yet he is supported from the treasury whilst I have to gain my bread by my toil!’ Thus the earth sat bewildered and astonished, saying, ' The celestial beings [sc. the angels] and the terrestial ones [sc. man] were created at the same time: yet the celestial beings are fed by the radiance of the Shechinah, whereas the terrestial beings, if they do not toil, do not eat.
We are taught in Scripture that our bodies are the Temple of God's Spirit. Just as the Tabernacle and Temple were constructed according to an image given by God, we ourselves are created in the image of the same God. God's "characteristics" are consistent and can be seen in all He does. By studying God's Temple (as commanded in Ezekiel) and properly keeping His Sabbath, we actually learn more of how to restore our personal relationship with Him. Such "wisdom" is considered greater than prophecy in Jewish tradition.
As Paul said, these things are indeed a (wonderful) shadow of what is to come, and don't let anyone "trouble you," if you choose to study and do them in faith (Colossians 2:17).
A UNION OF TIME AND SPACE
It is reasonable to assume that we can look for His "pattern" throughout any part of His creation. As we find the Temple and Shabbat closely linked in the Torah (when they are formally given to us, i.e. Leviticus 19:30), and coming to their fullness together in the Millennium, it is sensible to look for a connection involving spiritual time and space between the two.
Besides the weekly Shabbat, the three pilgrimage feasts of Pesakh, Shavuot and Succot were also called "sabbaths" and related to the Temple:
Deuteronomy 16:16 - Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
The Jewish scholar Nachmanides (12th century), taught that all 613 commandments of the Torah are related in some fashion to the Temple and Shabbat (2), making the Temple and Shabbat as critical to understanding God's revelation (His Torah) and the spiritual world, as the study of physical time and space are to understanding the "reality" of our physical world.
Science proclaims that our present reality is dependent on the relationship between space and time. Reality is made up of the three aspects of the dimension of space (height, width and depth -- or "X," "Y'" and "Z" coordinates) along with the single dimension of time. (i.e., If you want to know the "location" of something on this earth, you need to know the three aspects of where it was/is and the single aspect of when it was/is.)
The consistency of God's rules would apply to the reality of the spiritual realm. As the Millennium is the return of spiritual reality to its "proper state," we should view the union of of the Temple with Shabbat at that time in such terms, keeping in mind the three aspects of space and one of time. (We will also see later in this study, that there is a "fifth dimension," a spiritual/moral one, that indicates a status of: good/evil, clean/unclean, holy/unholy. This, like the others, is also not "static," (i.e., things that are clean can become unclean and vice-versa).
As we go through this study, we will find that "space-related" things such as; the structure of the Temple, the terms of the Besorah ("Gospel") and the New Covenant, are interwoven with the "time-related items" of; Shabbat, Yovel Year (Jubilee) and Yom Kippur.
Physical time and space are indeed a shadow of their spiritual counterparts:
"Space by itself and time by itself, are doomed to fade into mere shadows."- Herman Minkowski, a contemporary of Einstein, in a scientific address given September 21, 1908
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come ..."
- Sha'ul's letter to the Colossians, chapter 2, verses 16 & 17
"HaMakom V'HaZman Echad Hu" - "Time and Space are One"
- 16th century Jewish saying
"Mehitabut ha'orot, nithavu hakelim -"From the condensation of the lights, were the vessels brought into being."
- Ancient Jewish mystical saying

3 Ways to Practice the Mental Healing Power of Movement

3 Ways to Practice the Mental Healing Power of Movement

You know that eating an apple a day will keep the doctor away—as well as the cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Our bodies were designed to consume nutrition and then burn off those calories. But in this computer-based, sedentary world, many of us continue to eat but don’t move nearly enough – and we may pay a price in forsaking the healing power of movement.

Your digestive system uses movement to assist in moving food through passageways. Movement increases blood circulation, which increases oxygen to cells, which may help detoxify the body. But movement isn’t just healing to the body. The power of movement can also help heal the mind.

The Healing Power of Movement – Fast or Slow the Benefits Are Many

The art of mindfulness, or living “in the moment,” is thought to reduce stress and assist in developing clarity of thought. Living mindfully can help you cut back on calories, keep you calm when others rage, and when practiced along with slow deliberate movement, help improve your overall sense of wellbeing. Exercise has long been known to release mood-boosting chemicals in the brain, so while you’re improving your strength & endurance, you’re also creating more feel-good neurotransmitters. Movement can also be an important part of a weight management program, and losing a few excess pounds may make you very happy indeed!
Here are three ways, through simple exercise, to use the healing power of movement for improved mental & spiritual health:
  • The slowest walk you’ll ever take: One principle of the practice of mindfulness is to be aware at all times of your body and mind, your position in space, and your location. But how can you get used to staying in the moment – not thinking about a conversation you had earlier, what’s on TV later, or tomorrow’s meeting? The answer may be to take it one step at a time, literally.  Use deep, meditative breathing to set your pace. As you inhale, take a small step with your right foot. Hold the air in your lungs and just focus on where you are, how you feel, and what your body is doing. As you exhale, take a step with your left foot. Let your empty lungs relax completely for a moment as you focus on the here and now. When you need to inhale again, do so gently, as you move your right foot forward. It may look odd to outsiders, but mindful walking is an extraordinary experience for the walker. Consider practicingTai Chi which in many ways epitomizes the artful blend of mindfulness and movement.
  • The oddest shapes you’ll ever make: Yoga is a popular mind-body exercise that has been around for centuries.Yoga incorporates meditative breathing with fun stretches and positions that tone your muscles while releasing your stress. For yoga to be beneficial the mind must be clear and you must be focused in the present moment.  Yogamovements are thought to have healing powers for many ailments. Certain positions are designed to improve different organ functions, including lung capacity and circulation. The mindfulness aspect of yoga allows you enough time between positions to truly feel your body: which muscles are contracting, which are stretching, and how it feels. You’ll be more in tune with your sense of balance and your body in space.
  • The best groove you’ll ever shake: Dancing is a popular and delightful mind-body healing exercise. Dancing is fun because dancers can get lost in the music. You might not even realize you’ve been getting a full cardio workout! Dancing has been part of rituals in many cultures and continues to be popular in clubs and studios around the world—but you can “dance like there’s nobody watching” in the privacy of your own home.  You may want to select instrumental music so you won’t have words to distract you. Classical, electronic, or tribal music are excellent dance music. Don’t focus on any specific dance “steps” at first—just move your body in whatever way feels most natural. Even if you find your mind wandering and you struggle to stay in the moment while you dance, you will still reap the healing rewards of physical movement. Move serenely, eyes closed, to classical or jazz songs—or put on some happy tunes and shake it like you stole it! If you feel completely clumsy and clueless, find some online videos that show you beginner steps for aerobic dance or Zumba and follow along to get started. Be sure your healthcare provider gives you the go-ahead to do anything aerobic.
Remember, you can’t resolve the things that are worrying your mind if you just sit and stew about them. There is a healing power to movement, so get moving! Take a walk, whether fast or slow the benefits are many. Take a yoga class, or crank out the jams. If you stay in motion, movement may heal your mind.

Tiger Iron Gemstone

In Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of placement, spiritual values that once were regarded as entirely personal have taken on wider importance. Now many people are interested in creating harmony and balance in the workplace, too. And that's most often done through color. That's a big part of tiger iron's spiritual power. Its balance comes from the combination of yellow (earth colors) and black/dark brown (water colors). Because yellow is also associated with communication and dark colors with independence and strong self-discipline, you can give others a strong, clear message when you wear it.

Tiger Iron is a combination of Haematite, Jasper and Tigers Eye. It is a stone of vitality believed to bring energy, strength, confidence, willpower and motivation.
Tiger Iron is said to be beneficial for those who are deeply exhausted and drained by taking on other people’s feelings and emotions. It is also valuable for those suffering from emotional or mental burnout or family stress.
Tiger Iron encourages and supports change, giving you the energy to take the necessary action. It is also a creative and artistic stone believed to bring out hidden talents and to help with creative endeavours
In healing Tiger Iron is thought to be beneficial for the blood and for balancing the red white cell count. It is also believed to increase natural steroids and muscle strength and to aid iron and vitamin B absorption

Top 10 paranormal abilities.

This list is a look at some of the abilities people claim to have that science can not verify – or oftentimes, even witness. The list should be taken with a grain of salt. In no particular order, the top 10 paranormal abilities.
1. Psychokinesis
K1
Psychokinesis is also known as Telekinesis and mind over matter, and it is the ability to move or manipulate objects with the mind. This, in combination with pyrokinesis (item 5) is the ability that Carrie White had in the excellent book and movie adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie. Of all the items in this list, I would say this is the one that most people would love to have. It would make the television remote defunct and we could basically sit on our butts all day long and do nothing! The position normally taken by scientists and skeptics is that any apparent evidence of this ability is the result of fraud. Many books claim to help you learn this ability and they often contain exercises to help. For example, you may be told to throw a dice repeatedly whilst trying to control the number that comes up. Unfortunately, this creates the psychological state of illusion of control, in which a person comes to believe they are influencing the dice, when in fact, on every roll they have a 1 in 6 chance that their number will come up. One famous person who claims to have this ability is Uri Gellar, who is well known for his spoon bending trick in which he would (apparently) gently rub a spoon just beneath the bowl and the spoon would twist or turn. In fact, skeptics have been able to mimic this trick with great success and no claim to having supernatural abilities.
2. Extra Sensory Perception
Zener
Extra Sensory Perception, or ESP, is the ability to gather information without the use of the 5 senses (hence it is also sometimes called sixth sense). ESP is often tested with a deck of 25 cards called Zener cards. Familiar to most people, these cards comprise a deck of 5 patterns, a circle, a square, a triangle, a set of squiggly lines, and a plus. Two people participate; one views the cards one by one, and the other attempts to “see” the card with the power of the mind. Again, there is a 1 in five chance that you will guess the card correctly, so it is not a particularly useful method of proof. Of course your odds improve with every card produced if you are told whether your guess was correct, as you can use card counting. The cards are also used in tests of telepathy when the viewer does not just record the shape on the card for verification, but attempts to “transmit” the shape to the other person. On average, most people guess right about 20% of the time.
3. Telepathy
Extrasensoryperception
Telepathy is the ability to communicate with others with the mind. Within the field of parapsychology this is considered to be a form of ESP. Most often telepathy occurs spontaneously in incidents of crisis where a relative or friend has been injured or killed in an accident. An individual is aware of the danger to the other person from a distance. Such information seems to come in different forms as in thought fragments, like something is wrong; in dreams, visions, hallucinations, mental images, in clairaudience, or in words that pop into the mind. Often such information causes the person, the receiver, to change is course of action, such as changing his travel plans or daily schedule, or to just call or contact the other person. Some incidents involve apparent telepathy between humans and animals.
4. Clairvoyance
Crystal Ball Lg
Clairvoyance is the transfer of information without the use of the senses – it differs from telepathy in that there is no transfer of information from one person to another. Clairvoyants often say that the information comes from the spirit world. A related ability is called Clairaudience – which is the ability to internally hear information that is passed from the dead. A very famous clairaudient was Doris Stokes, a British spiritualist. Current thinking among proponents of clairvoyance posits that most people are born with clairvoyant abilities but then start to subliminate them as their childhood training compels them to adhere to acceptable social norms. Numerous institutes offer training courses that attempt to revive the clairvoyant abilities present in those early years
5. Pyrokinesis
Wp1024Firestarter02
Pyrokinesis is the ability to ignite or extinguish fires with the mind. In yet another book by Stephen King, Firestarter, the main character, a young girl, has this ability. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that this ability is real, though many people involved in the field of parapsychology believe it exists. There may be a connection between this alleged ability and the various reports of spontaneous human combustion.

6. Psychometry
Psychometry
Psychometry is the ability to “read” information from objects. For example, a psychometrist may hold a watch or wallet belonging to a person they do not know, and by concentrating on the object, garner information about the person’s past, present, or future. The concept of psychometry is a popular theme for stage act and Séance; with participants being asked to provide a personal object to be “read” by a medium or psychic. It was used as the basis for Johnny Smith’s visions in Stephen King’s 1979 novel The Dead Zone and its subsequent 2002 television adaption.
7. Precognition
Geuu 02 Img0352
This is the ability to foresee events. It was precognition that the famous American Psychic Jeane Dixon. She is best known for allegedly predicting the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In the May 13, 1956, issue of Parade Magazine she wrote that the 1960 presidential election would be “dominated by labor and won by a Democrat” who would then go on to “[B]e assassinated or die in office though not necessarily in his first term.” She later admitted, “During the 1960 election, I saw Richard Nixon as the winner.” Nixon held her in such high regard that he ordered preparations for a terrorist attack she had predicted. She was also one of a number of psychics who gave advice to Nancy Reagan during the Reagan Administration.
8. Bilocation
Pio1
Bilocation is the alleged ability to be in two places at the same time. St Pio of Pietrelcina, the famous stigmatic, was said to have this ability. It is said to be a physical, rather than spiritual ability, which makes it different from astral projection. Friends of Aliester Crowley, the occultist, claimed that he had this ability, though in situations were he was meant to have bilocated, he was unaware of it. Although it is uncommon, bilocation is an ancient phenomenon. It is claimed to have been experienced, and even practiced by will, by mystics, ecstatics, saints, monks, holy persons, and magical adepts. This is also normally the explanation given for the tales of people appearing to loved ones just prior to their death.
9. Postcognition
Psych 1
Postcognition is the opposite of precognition; it is the ability to see an event after it has occurred. This is probably the most widely used ability in modern days as many police forces invite psychics to assist them on difficult unsolved cases. This ability has been yet another topic of a Stephen King novel, the Dead Zone, in which the main character is able to see bad aspects of a person’s past from touching them or an object belonging to them. While there has often been some success with postcognitive visions in criminal investigations, it is still generally considered to be the result of hoax or fraud perpetrated by a person who has done research in to the crime, enabling them to give broad enough description to seem legitimate.
10. Astral Projection
Proj2
Astral projection is the ability to spiritually separate from your body and travel vast distances with the mind alone. It differs from bilocation in that the second body is a spirit body. The concept of astral projection has been familiar for thousands of years, dating back to ancient China and other ancient cultures. A great deal of skepticism exists around this ability due to the fact that the only evidence is the word of the person claiming to be able to project. A study done by Dr. Charles Tart tentatively concluded that astral projection may have objective validity. For example, in a 1967 study, a subject was not able to discover a five digit number written down and placed face up in an adjoining room, but did provide some details of the activities of the technician monitoring the experiment. Tart summarizes, “Thus, there is some indication that ESP may have been involved with respect to the technician’s activities, but it is not at all conclusive.”

Symbolic Meaning of the Raven in Native American Indian Lore

Symbolic Meaning of the Raven in Native American Indian Lore

« Symbols for SurvivorWhat Dreaming of Money Means » Symbolic Meaning of the Raven in Native American Indian Lore

Written by avenefica on November 15th, 2007

The symbolic meaning of the Raven in Native American Indian lore describes the raven as a creature of metamorphosis, and symbolizes change/transformation.

In some tribes, the Raven is considered a trickster because of its transforming/changing attributes.

Often honored among medicine & holy men of tribes for its shape-shifting qualities, the Raven was called upon in ritual so that visions could be clarified. Native holy men understood that what the physical eye sees, is not necessarily the truth, and he would call upon the Raven for clarity in these matters.

Foremost, the Raven is the Native American bearer of magic, and a harbinger of messages from the cosmos. Messages that are beyond space and time are nestled in the midnight wings of the Raven and come to only those within the tribe who are worthy of the knowledge.
The Raven is also called upon in Native ritual for healing purposes. Specifically, the Raven is thought to provide long-distance healing.

The Raven is also a keeper of secrets, and can assist us in determining answers to our own “hidden” thoughts. Areas in our lives that we are unwilling to face, or secrets we keep that harm us – the Raven can help us expose the truth behind these (often distorted) secrets and wing us back to health and harmony.

Six Entries of Evil

Six Entries of Evil

How did I get a Demon? How did "they" get there?

We are going to examine some of the ways that this happens. There are many ways that Satan uses to gain some measure of control over a human life. Demons are spirit beings that can't function in our physical ream like they want to unless they can gain some kind of entry into a human body. If they can gain entry into our body, they can influence our thoughts and actions much more than they can from the outside.

Let's examine six of the ways that demons can use to gain entry into our minds and bodies:

1. Willful Sin

If you are living in deliberate spiritual rebellion, you are open to demonic attack. God will only set you free from you enemies, not your friends. He will only set you free to serve him better. If you are living in sin, you must change your address. You must turn to Jesus with all your heart. You must build a good life with Him, which means spending time with Him in prayer and reading his word. You must say "Jesus, forgive my sins. I repent and I renounce them and I turn from my sins to you with all my heart". Then you are ready to ask him to deliver you from your enemies.

2. Involuntary Inheritance

Ancestral curses cause an inherited vulnerability to demons. Have you noticed that cancer and heart disease usually show up in every generation when it starts in a family? Doctors know that some sicknesses and diseases pass from one generation to the next. The same applies to spiritual sickness. How many alcoholics have alcoholic children? Many times, no matter how the children try not to be like Mommy or Daddy, they turn out the same. How many abused children grow up to be abusers of their children? The curses that the children were born with, many times pass to their children and to their grandchildren. These curses can only be broken through the power and the name of Jesus.

Let's read Duet: 18:9-14. When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices, the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. Now let's read Duet. 28:58-61. If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name -the Lord your God- the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses. He will bring upon you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you. The Lord will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

You say, "Didn't Jesus take the curse for us?" Yes, Jesus took the curse of the law, which was that there was no forgiveness wider the law. There was just atonement by animal sacrifice year by year. The sin was covered by the blood of the sacrifice, not taken away. Jesus became our sacrifice to be free from the curse of the law. Our sins are removed as far as the East is from the West, never to be remembered again. What we read here is the curse of the Lord. If we do the same things that they did, we will reap the same things that they reaped.

3. Occult Entanglement

Read Deuteronomy 18:9-14 once more. When we become involved in the things that God says "do not do" it is like signing a legal and binding contract with the forces of darkness. Satan is the smartest lawyer that ever was, and if he has a legal right to torment you, you cannot stop him until you take away that legal right. This is done by forgiving and asking forgiveness from God. Also, the contract must be broken. This is done by renouncing the things of the occult and turning from them to God with the whole heart. What are these things? Some of the most common are: horoscope, oujia boards, water witching, fortune telling, psychic healing, tarot cards, séances and mental telepathy. (See the detailed list at the end of this article.) Have you ever wondered why God told Israel to destroy some of the cities completely when they came into the land of Canaan or Palestine? He said to destroy all belongings, all cattle, all people, men, women and children, all their gold and silver, every thing that they owned. It was because some of these people were so corrupted by occult sins and demon worship that God knew if His people saved any of their belongings or lived in their cities, they would become corrupt also.

Occult sins are not covered by the general rule of forgiveness. Sure, when we ask Jesus to forgive our sins, He does. Our spirits are saved and on their way to heaven, but many times our body and our soul are still tormented by the occult spirits that we have a legal and binding contract with. This causes a vulnerability to the forces of darkness. The contract must be voided. If an occult ritual was performed over us, it must be undone. We do this by saying, "Jesus I renounce all the occult involvement (name them). I repent for turning to your enemies about things in my life. I ask you to forgive me and cleanse me from all occult activity".

4. Abuse

When children are abused, the general nature of the trauma opens them to demonic activity. The five areas of abuse are physical, verbal, emotional, mental and sexual. Of the five, more children are demonized by sexual abuse than all the others. Statistics from "The Family Research Council", a Christian oriented family organization based in Washington, D.C., tells us that 40% of the people in our churches were sexually molested or raped before 17 years of age. This includes men and women both. Out in the every day world, the percentage is 17%. What does this tell us? Hurting people are coming into our churches looking for help. If we don't provide help for them, they will turn to drugs, alcohol, sex and the occult to try to find it. What happens when a child is abused? He or she, most of the time, grows up to be an angry, violent person. They can become revengeful, and feel compelled to take it out on some body else. School violence is a good example. You say, "It isn't fair. I'm the victim and I got the demon!" Nothing that Satan ever does is fair. His kingdom does not play by our rules. He will take every unfair advantage to gain a foothold in our lives.

5. Addictions

Addictions always go deeper than just addictions. Some deep, underlying root of bitterness and rejection usually drives a person to addictions. What was described in the abuse section, many times, leads to drugs and alcohol. Mind altered states from drugs and alcohol open us to demons. You gave him the right to come in when you yielded your will to the drugs. This opens the doorway to the soul so that demons can enter. If you are out of control, the demons will get in control! Drugs and alcohol shut down the process of your will and give a legal right for demons to enter!

6. Abandonment

Physical or emotional abandonment opens a child to demons. A parent who is not there, or doesn't care about the child when be or she is there, opens a child to Satan's kingdom. This brings rejection to an unwanted child. Rejection can create the most serious wound to the emotions that the child will ever suffer.

Now to the cure for all these things:

Repent, renounce, and remove.

Repent of all sin.

Renounce all occult involvement.

Renounce all family curses.

Forgive all who have hurt you.

Forgiveness heals the wound of rejection, resentment infects it.

Identify the enemy inside. If you are an angry person, for example, begin to resist anger.

Pray and ask Jesus to help you. Then begin to take the authority that you have in Jesus Christ to remove. "Anger, in the name of Jesus, I command you to leave."

New Age Healing Rooted in the Occult

New Age Healing Rooted in the Occult

Medicine and the way people treat disease and illness are changing. Alternative medicine is gaining in popularity while, in some cases, science and mystical spirituality are joining hands to form a new frontier for the advancement of healthcare. “New Age medicine” involves the application of generally Eastern/occult methods of healing while stressing treatment of the whole person – body, mind and spirit. The term is frequently used interchangeably with “holistic medicine” and “alternative medicine.” Occult and metaphysical terminology is removed from New Age medicine and healing techniques to make them more acceptable to the wider public. The result is that many people are using these practices and remedies without knowing what they are participating in.
Alternative therapies are offered to people to replace drugs and eliminate their many side effects. In stead of taking pain-killers patients are recommended to undergo acupuncture, while the need to balance energies is advanced as an alternative to operations and the taking of conventional biomedicine.
The concept behind New Age healing is that there is an intelligence, a cosmic force, or a vital force which pervades the universe, and that people become sick when they are not properly aligned or attuned to this force. Health is presented as a holistic concept, including the emotional, spiritualand physical aspects of a person. The techniques to ensure a person’s well-being in all these areas are not known to general practitioners since they only concentrate on the biological nature of medical disorders. New Age practitioners, on the other hand, are focused on the healing of the entire person through the working of the vital force and the restoration of the cosmic energy flow in patients.
It is a common occult teaching that everything in the universe is vibrating, has sound, colour, a number and a form attached to it. These features can be used to bring about changes in an organism through the correct energy flow, and to promote healing in malfunctioning organisms. The hands are powerful tools used in occult healing. A well-known New Age author, Alice Bailey, said: “It is an occult fact that the hands of a disciple… become transmitters of spiritual energy.” Massage, acupressure, and the laying on of hands by such people can expose a patient to dangerous occult influences.
In psychic and occult healing, the true source of the healing energy is seldom revealed. Therefore, it can be practised under the name of any religion and even pretends to be Christian. Some practitioners will invoke the God of forces who is in control of the life force manipulated by them. This is a title of the devil. The coming Antichrist will not honour the God of his fathers, but in His place he will “honour the God of forces” (Dan. 11:37-38; cf. Rev. 13:2). Millions of people are being deceived by exposing themselves to mystical techniques which are empowered by Satan.
The following are some of the mystical therapies used by New Age practitioners as an alternative to biomedicine:
Healing with sound. In New Age thought, each organ is believed to have a specific vibration attached to it. The flow of energy through these organs may be interrupted and thrown out of balance by unnatural sounds such as noises caused by motor cars, screams of fear, anger or pain, etc. Meditative New Age music is used to promote alternative states of consciousness and to soothe the soul. In addition to the music, mantras, or sacred words, are also used to penetrate the soul and align the energies that are out of balance. The danger with meditative trances such as these is that the person opens himself for visitation by alien spirits, often referred to as spirit guides. They are demons who disguise themselves as “angels of light” (2 Cor. 11:14) and endeavour to help the person achieve a false form of inner peace and healing, and also to act as advisors in decision-making.
Healing with colour. Colours are used in healing in a similar manner to the way numbers are used in numerology. An esoteric meaning is associated with every colour, and by visualising its mystical significance, healing and positive energy flow are promoted. Objects with the colours that correspond to a particular problem are placed close to the afflicted body parts to effect healing. Fruit with healing colours are also eaten while clothing with matching colours is worn. Astrology plays a role in this type of healing as the signs of the zodiac have, according to occult thought, their own colours that correspond to the human anatomy.
Healing with crystals. Crystals supposedly contain vibrational frequencies that mystically interconnect with the earth’s and the individual’s energy field. They are used to amplify or realign psychic or cosmic energy for psychic healing and entering altered states of consciousness. Time magazine has observed that crystal power and crystal healing are among the most favoured New Age techniques for expanding consciousness and curing ailments. According to the nature of the illness, the crystal will become hot or cold as it is passed over the person’s aura. In terms of this occult belief, the crystal is absorbing the bad energy out of the body. People also place crystals under their pillows to have nice dreams and to be “taught” in their subconscious mind by the cosmic wisdom with which the crystals supposedly establish contact.
Biofeedback. A monitoring device is used to extend the five senses with a view to creating a deeper sense of awareness. In this way, your consciousness is expanded by integrating the mind and body in a way which cannot be effected in a state of normal consciousness. The deeper, integrated state of consciousness promotes relaxation, creativity and intuition. In response to the information received from the monitoring device you take voluntary control of your bodily processes. You are enabled to control your muscles, eye movements and brain waves, and can even learn to practise a form of self-hypnosis by achieving an altered state of consciousness. In this way you enter the cosmic sphere and tap an occult source of energy.
Flower remedies. Edward Bach was a physician in London who gave up his practice to perfect his method of flower healing. Flowers are collected from various domesticated and wild plants. For example, the rock rose is applied to cases of extreme terror, while more than 30 other remedies are applied to other emotional disorders, thus enabling the body to heal itself. The philosophy behind this healing is that by taking the flower remedies the sufferer will be enabled to overcome negative emotions such as fear, worry and depression, thereby causing the disappearance of the physical illnesses which are the consequences of disturbed emotions. A person’s state of mind is believed to be directly related to his bodily health. When peace and harmony return to the mind, health returns to the body. In this case, cosmic energy is also resorted to since the correcting of disturbed emotions is believed to occur in a mystical way. This is yet another way to ensure the flow of cosmic energy to the patient.
Aromatherapy. This is the art of healing by inhaling the essential oil fragrances of flowers, herbs and aromatic wood, thereby bringing the body, mind and spirit into balance. Plant extracts and essential oils are also used in massage. The holistic nature of this therapy is clearly evident in the claim that it positively influences the mind and spirit.
Astral travel. This practice is also known as soul travel. A person learns to be conscious of his dream state, being fully aware of travelling in the spiritual realm to other dimensions. During these experiences, when the body is asleep, people usually see a light and hear celestial music. They also have experiences of meeting spirit guides who help them solve their personal problems. From a Christian point of view, astral travel opens the human spirit to a mystical sphere where demons can gain control over them.
Reading auras. In New Age Healing it is believed that every person is surrounded by an aura, or energy field, which conforms to the shape of his/her body. Different colours in the aura give an indication of the person’s health, attitude and consciousness. Grey is associated with fear and depression, orange with pride, while deep flashes of red reveal anger. By reading one’s aura, sickness will be shown even before the symptoms manifest. Practitioners are accredited with the ability to cleanse and realign a person’s aura. Afterwards, the practitioner will shake his hands to rid him of any negative energies. To see into the spiritual realm, one needs to be a psychic with an awakened 6th sense, or third eye.
Reflexology, also called zone therapy or compression massage, is a technique which involves the massaging of one’s feet at specific points to bring relaxation or relief of pain in another part of the body. For example, by massaging the big toe in the appropriate places, you can ease head pains, thyroid, and neck problems. Reflexology is not limited to the feet. The hands, as well as other parts of the body, are said to contain these same points, or “zones.” Dr. William Fitzgerald revived this ancient practice and presented it to the medical profession in 1913. He called this technique Zone Therapy, because he had divided the body into ten “zones’ – five on each side. Reflexology, although unknown to many people, is an ancient occult technique! It is based on the theories of yin and yang and the five elements, which were taken right out of ancient occult teachings from China.
Palmistry, the occult practice of foretelling the future by reading the hand, is also based on the theories of yin and yang and the five elements. According to Oriental magicians, the palm of the hand contains the secrets of life. There was also an ancient Chinese school of thought which maintained that the palm of the hand was a replica of yin and yang and could provide information about illness, good health and one’s entire fate. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 tells us that those who use divination (such as astrologers, palmists), enchanters, witches, etc. are an abomination to the Lord and were not to be found among God’s people.
Reiki. The word reiki is derived from the Japanese words “rei” meaning universal spirit and “ki” which means energy. The word reiki basically means a balanced cosmic and energy force. The fundamental principle of how reiki works is that it dissolves the toxic energy from your aura or life force. This can be physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Reiki helps to create equilibrium of energy, which in turn creates a harmonious environment within the human body so true healing can take place. People that become reiki healers must first learn to become attuned to the reiki energy to allow their natural healing energies to become enhanced. The energy of reiki is transferred to students through a reiki master. The reiki master attunes the students gradually to the reiki energy and reveals symbols of meditation, often yoga meditation, that can be used within the student’s energy field to accomplish higher vibrations of energy. This mediation is guided through a celestial universal force that guides each student through his/her individual journey of healing. In essence, reiki is an occult technique designed to influence and/or manipulate patients through the use of unadvertised or undiscerned spiritistic energy. In reiki we discover the same problem illustrated in therapeutic touch and related forms of spiritistic/psychic healing. The practice appears innocent and many people assume it can’t hurt. However, it may easily produce serious emotional and spiritual problems. For this reason, reiki should be avoided.
The Pilates Method. A German, Joseph Pliates, developed this form of exercise to enhance mind-body fitness. In the exercise programme, use is made of basic stretching and body movements. However, in many cases the gymnasiums and centres that offer this method also make use of controlled breathing and New Age techniques such as visualisation, kundalini yoga and tai chi. Once that is done, the door is opened to exploring the occult energy field which is used to quicken the mind and spirit of those who do the exercises.
Conclusion: According to Ankerberg & Weldon (Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs) “the problem in the approach of New Age medicine is twofold: (1) The New Age health providers are usually not experts in biological medicine; and (2) their treatment of body, mind and spirit is based on occult presuppositions and practices. In both cases, this can damage a person’s health.” The basic occult presuppositions are that of a magical worldview in which supernatural forces permeate everything, altered states of consciousness to draw people into spheres of mystical influencing, and mysterious body energies which are derived and controlled from the cosmic realm of yin and yang. Occult practices include aura reading, acupuncture, therapeutic touch, crystal work, yoga, transcendental meditation, astral travel, etc.
Every person should make very sure that he or she does not become involved in the New Age Movement’s holistic therapies, since contamination by occult forces will inevitably follow. However, that does not mean that everything outside of western biomedicine is part of the New Age Movement’s alternative medicine. There are herbal and other therapies that have a proven beneficial working without any mystical ideas or practices associated with them. Ask questions and investigate everything before giving it a stamp of approval. The devil cleverly conceals his subversive activities from the eyes of the ignorant in an effort to catch them in his web and subject them to his sphere of influence.

Part of an extensive network

Healthcare is only one of various aspects of life which has been penetrated by the New Age Movement in an effort to subject the entire world to domination by demonic forces. The ultimate goal of this movement is that all religions should worship the same, universal god who is presented as an impersonal source of energy in the Orient. They are intent on influencing people in the West to only perceive God as a positive power that is present in the entire creation – also in human beings. Because, to them, He is not a person, all verbal prayers should be discontinued and replaced by quiet meditation (or contemplation) until the person experiences peace in his heart. Since the New Age god is also hidden deep within every person, they must be taught to descend to the centre of their beings and enter a mystical sphere through meditation and the entering of an alternative state of consciousness, thereby ensuring their healing and general wellbeing (for more information on this form of prayer, read our article: “The danger of centering prayer”).
When this practice has, according to the New Age Movement, been firmly established, evangelical Christianity with its denunciatory attitude towards other religions will gradually loose its support and be replaced by multireligious thought and practices such as transcendental meditation. The whole world with all its different faiths will then await the same messiah to introduce a new world order of international peace and unity. Political leaders will also give their full support to him, explaining why “all the world” will follow the Antichrist in amazement for what he will be able to do (Rev. 13:3).
When this deceiver of Satan has taken over the world and rules it, signs and wonders will abound and be derived from the demonic energy field that surrounds the world (Eph. 6:12). All these manifestations will be based upon deception, thereby confirming the biblical warning that the coming of the Antichrist will be “according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thess. 2:8-9). An antichristian network is rapidly spreading around the world to “heal and unite” the world under false pretences.
