A Rose That God Created

God created the rose in the likeness of a woman. The rose represents her beauty. The stem represents her strength. The petals are soft as her delicate skin, the fragrance so pure and so sweet. The leaves represent her arms outstretched, always loving and giving and for perfection-- -He made her heart of pure gold. Thank you God for making a woman......
A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully. Before it blossomed, he examined it. He saw a bud that would soon blossom. He also saw the thorns, and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns?" Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and before it was ready to bloom, it died. So it is with many people. Within every soul, there is a rose. The "God-like " qualities planted in us at birth, growing amidst the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects. We despair, thinking nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential.
Some don't see the rose within themselves. It takes someone else to show it to them.
One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns and find the rose within others. This is the truest, most innocent and gracious characteristic of love - To know another person, including their faults, recognize the nobility in their soul, and yet still help another to realize they can overcome their faults.
If we show them the rose, they will conquer the thorns. Only then will they blossom, and most likely, blooming thirty, sixty, a hundred-fold, as it is given to them.
Our duty in this world is to help others, by showing them their roses and not their thorns. It is then that we achieve the love we should feel for each other. Only then can we bloom in our own garden.

This Pastor has guts!!

When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate (USA), everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what theyheard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.
We know Your Word says, "Woe to those who call evil good", but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot anti-abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest.
In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively.

The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayerfrom India, Africa and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, "The Rest ofthe Story," and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and whole-heartedly become our desire so that we again can be called: "one nation under God."

If possible, please pass this prayer on to your friends. "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for everything."

The Law of Significance

Everybody, anyone want ONE thing, the same thing: a happy life.

The Law of Significance
People try to achieve great things by themselves mainly because of the size of their ego, their level of insecurity, or simple naiveté and temperament. One is too small a number to achieve greatness.

- Every single person who achieves something of significance wishes for that thing.

- Every single person wishes that they had all of the money they wanted to fulfill all of their desires.

- Wishes cannot give you what you are seeking. When you have a wish, however, that is backed by a desire that is an obsession and does not recognize failure, you will start to achieve what you are looking for. You need to firmly desire something. The people who achieve the most in the world have great desire.

-When you desire something enough you can achieve anything. Just wishing for something is not enough. A wish must be transformed into a white hot desire for it to gain the power and momentum it needs. You need to have a strong desire in order to achieve anything.

-You Need to Have Desire to Achieve Your Goals!!

-Success is GREAT. But significance is LASTING.

- Learn how to achieve the success you desire while leading a life of significance..... To achieve the SIGNIFICANCE in life...you need to know 'HOW' and how to nurture our wounded inner child, how to improve our self esteem, how to enhance our creativity, how to improve memory, how to become more productive, how to end procrastination, how to improve relationships, how to be spiritual person, how to SELL yourself, how to get all the love we need, how to become successful, how to become rich, how to communicate better....

- Give yourself TIME. Give yourself a clearly defined end date to achieve your goals by.

- Make it public. Share your goals and commitments with other people — your partner, your parents, your friends and co-workers..others.

- Change yourself, not the things around you. Change your attitude, not your things– if you’re unorganized, figure out why you have a hard time putting things into a memorable system and change that; if you don’t feel good about yourself, look at your life and what’s not going well, rather than seeking out a remedy that has nothing to do with what’s making you unhappy.

- Success is when I add value to Myself. Significance is when I add value to Others.

-Individuals play the game, but teams win championships. Teams involve more people, thus affording more resources, ideas and energy than would an individual.

-Significance comes when we are able to develop leaders to do great things for others. But our impact or legacy is created when we are able to put our institution in a position of value to others.

Camelia says "My dear friends, let us grow to our maximum potential and nurture the kind of spirituality that is self-affirming, empowering, and liberating, so that we can be the best we can become. Let us start with ourselves. Have faith in yourself and in others. We have to believe we can all become leaders who can bring about the change we wish to see in the world. "

“You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world… but it requires people to make the dream a reality.” - Walt Disney
