Kundalini

Kundalini

"Kundalinî: 'She who is coiled; serpent power.' The primordial cosmic energy in every individual which eventually, through the practice of yoga, rises up the sushumnâ nâdî. As it rises, the kunalinî awakens each successive chakra. Nirvikalpa samâdhi, enlightenment, comes as it pierces through the door of Brahman at the core of the sahasrâra and enters!” Hinduism Today
"The Kundalini is your own mother. Your individual mother. And She has tape-recorded all your past and your aspirations, everything. And She rises because She wants to give you your second birth, but She is your individual mother. You don’t share Her with anybody else. Yours is a different, somebody else’s is different because the tape-recording is different. We say She is the reflection of the Adi Shakti who is called as Holy Ghost in the Bible. But She rises without any difficulty. Hardly any time it takes." — Shri Mataji

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man born be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God... Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit." John 3:5-7

"It is important to understand about your own Kundalini, as Self-realisation is Self-knowledge. And the one who gives Self-knowledge is your own Kundalini because when she rises, she points out what are the problems on your Chakras. Now we say that it is pure desire. It is your chaste desire. It has no lust or greed in it. That power is your Mother and She Is settled down in the triangular bone. She knows everything about you just as a tape recorder. She is absolute knowledge. Because She is so pure that whatever chakra She touches, She knows what is wrong with that chakra before hand; so She is quite prepared and She adjusts herself fully so that you do not get a problem by the awakening. If any chakra is constricted, She waits and goes on slowly opening that chakra.

The Kundalini is the primordial power and is reflected in you. In a human being, it is like many strands of energy, like rope. This energy is all twisted together to form that Kundalini. In a human being the strands are 3 x 7 = 21 Nadis raised to the power of 108. When your kundalini rises, one or two strands out of this come up and pierce the fontanelle bone. It has to pass through the innermost nadi known as Brahma Nadi. It is a spiral movement throughout. The kundalini is spiral and nadis are also like a spiral. The outermost nadi is the right-side nadi, Pingala Nadi. The second innermost is Ida Nadi. She starts sending these threads through Brahma Nadi; by that they relax the centre. By relaxing of centre, the sympathetic nervous system also starts relaxing, your pupils start dilating and when it has pierced the Agnya, then the eyes will be completely dilated and shining. Then She enters into Sahasrara.

It is absolutely the pure light of knowledge of love, compassion and attention. All these things are in that energy. We know of many energies like electrical, light energy etc. These energies cannot think. They cannot adjust and work on their own. They have to be handled by us. But this energy itself is the living energy and knows how to handle itself. It thinks. If you see a seed being sprouted you will find at the tip of the seed there is a small little cell which knows how to go around the soft places, how to encircle the stones, and how to find its way towards the source. That cell has got a little Kundalini in it. But within you a tremendous force of Kundalini exists. When a realised soul says that he should have more compassion, as my compassion is not alright; my concern about others, my generosity is not alright, I have exploited other's love. Then this energy starts moving, giving you that greater dimension of love and compassion. If you do not want to grow in your awareness then She does not supply the energy which is stored in you.

The Kundalini is there to nourish you, look after you, and make you grow by giving you a higher, wider and deeper personality. All her power is nothing but love. She gives the power to forgive. Even when you think, the energy for thinking comes from Kundalini because you are asking her help.

The power of Kundalini is absolute purity, auspiciousness, holiness, chastity, self-respect, pure love, detachment, concern, enlightened attention to give you Joy. As a mother will try whatever is possible to give joy to her child, in the same way, this Kundalini has only one power and that is how to give Joy to her own Children. When we talk in the light of Kundalini, we have to understand that this light spreads in your life, outside your life and, expresses itself in a very beautiful manner.

When you worship Adi Kundalini, the reflection in you, which is your Kundalini, is very happy. Also the deities feel happy.

The power of Kundalini which is your own Mother has to rise and manifest itself, because of your Pure Desire. In your introspection, pujas, and in your Meditation, you should see for yourself why are you in meditation. It is for pure desire of compassion and love to be awakened within us. The growth has started and you will find that this shell which is human conditioning and ego will just break open. It is in the triangular bone, which comes up, manifests and can save the whole world. Just see the magnificence, the expansion, the greatness of this Kundalini which was within you and which came up in its full strength and has shown tremendous things.

The joy we feel during music recitals is because Kundalini is dancing. She gets happy because you ask for nothing but enjoyment of collectivity.

You are yourself fully connected when you are absolutely detached and your Kundalini is dancing. You are alone and never alone. This oneness with the whole gives you all the security and joy you want. That's why the Kundalini awakening means collectivity. Unless and until you want pure collectivity in your being Kundalini won't rise.

When you worship Adi Kundalini, you are trying to cleanse your Kundalini, as well and please the deities. This is an object. It cannot be changed. But the reflector can change. The movement of Kundalini depends on temperament of person. Kundalini can give you honesty, and faith in honesty by actualising the experience. Supposing you want to go to a garden and you are suddenly there. Then you will know that your desire is pure and it has worked out. All such miracles happen. The pure desire works out because it is powerful.

When it works, the whole thing works out and you develop faith. That faith is within you. Nobody can challenge you if you have faith. It will be done. Your pure desire is now being fulfilled, you are now connected, and you are now Divine. You are realised souls. You are different from others. For you, all this subtle knowledge is being absorbed, because your Kundalini is absorbing it. Whatever is absorbed is absorbed back by me. But that becomes like a barometer. You immediately know without thinking, asking, you know about anyone because Kundalini is the reflector. The better a reflector, you become, the more the Kundalini shows. Though Kundalini is an individual Mother, in her functions and methods She is just the same. You cannot cheat the Kundalini; She knows you out and out. We must meditate to get into thoughtless awareness by which we allow the Kundalini to grow."

Kundalini: The dormant, divine Evolutionary Force that enlightens and bestows immortality when activated
"What is Kundalini Really? More commonly known in western cultures as Holy Spirit, Kundalini is the ancient Sanskrit name for the primal life force that animates all living entities—the evolutionary force behind all living matter.... Shaktipat is a Sanskrit word for the process of activating the higher Kundalini-Shakti energy, initiating the process of spiritual growth and enlightenment and advancing personal evolution dramatically. This has also been called the "baptism by fire" and "second birth"—a truly sacred mystical experience.” Dr. Larry Jensen PhD, DD, MBA.

According to Indian tradition, man has seven chakras (centres of energy). The Kundalini force is said to be sleeping, coiled like a serpent, in the lowest chakra, called the root chakra. When this force is awaken, it begins to rise up through the spine. The awakening occurs through yoga, meditation, breathing exercises etc., and was called "the shorter way to God".

The most ancient Eastern spiritual texts, the Vedas, of India, tell us that the process of spiritual awakening by which one attains truth -awareness is called 'Self-Realization'. The Self Realized person lives in direct experience of reality—this is called "Jnana" ( a traditional sanskrit word meaning 'knowledge' or 'Gnosis'). Such a person is called a "Jnani" ('knower ' or 'gnostic' ) or "dwijaha" ('twice born'; first from a human mother to the earthly plane then secondly as a child of the Goddess, or Divine Mother, who gives the seeker their second, spiritual birth, Self-Realisation, into the plane of mystic awareness- gnosis! ).
Kundalini means ‘coiled energy’ and it refers to a power which lies in three-and-a-half coils in the sacrum bone called the Mooladhara which is distinct from, and lies above, the Mooladhara Chakra. (It is interesting to note that sacrum if Greek for sacred.) A pulsation is sometimes seen at this level during Kundalini Awakening. Like the Sushumna, the Kundalini is normally in a potential state. When it is awakened it ascends through the Sushumna, across the void to the top of the Sushumna. When the Kundalini emerges at this point, Yoga is said to have taken place. Yoga is impossible without Kundalini Awakening.
This happening of Kundalini awakening and ultimate union with a higher consciousness are described by a Sanskrit word ‘Sahaja’. This means literally ‘born with,’ spontaneous or effortless. The implication is that the entire mechanism is inborn — part of human anatomy — and is activated in a spontaneous and natural way without undue or extreme efforts. One analogy often used is the germinating of a seed. This happens automatically when the seed is placed in the Mother Earth.
When the Kundalini reaches the Agnya Chakra, one becomes silent and peaceful. The person sits with his eyes closed, so this is not a state of hypnosis, brainwashing or manipulation — just silence. The person is fully aware of himself and of his surroundings and is he wishes to, he can think. However, the person is very relaxed and his attention is not constantly being distracted by the normal flow of mundane thoughts. This state is not achieved by any effort of will or by any mental exercises on the part of the patient. It occurs spontaneously when a Sahaja Yogi, that is to say someone who has the state of Yoga and the expertise of the mechanism, awakens the Kundalini. But this is also an illusion as it the Divine Presence within that gives Self-Realization.
If one of the Chakras is damaged or defective, the Kundalini may be obstructed at that level. In such cases, it is often possible to see the pulsation of the Kundalini at that level with the naked eye, and to hear it with a stethoscope. This pulsation can also be heard at the fontanel and Adi Shankaracaraya called this 'spandakarika.'
As the Kundalini rises through the Agnya Chakra, it cools down the system, especially the cerebo-spinal fluid. This results in the balloons of the left and right Agnya becoming progressively deflated. Once this happens the Kundalini is able to reach the top of the Sushumna; the Sahasrara Chakra. At this point we can say that Yoga has taken place. The person feels the coolness, like a breeze of cool vibrations flowing in the fingers and palms of both hands. The sensations on the hands can, with very little practice, be used to ascertain the state of the Chakras. The nadis and the Chakras themselves begin to manifest in the conscious awareness, and what has so far been a hypothesis becomes part of one’s everyday sensory experience. Our fingertips, the base and center of the palm become extremely sensitive as the sympathetic nerve endings representing the different Chakras become enlightened. (According to the Prashna Upanishad, verse 3:6, there are precisely 727,210,201 nerves.) We can feel on our fingers our own selves and other people by a proper method of decoding, which can be taught to anyone who reaches this stage, in a month. Thus, the diagnosis takes place at a deeper level of our being through our sensitivity to these seven centres.
If one learns how to nourish the Chakras through the knowledge of Sahaja Yoga, one can cure the exhausted Chakras. Thus the patient is cured at the root of the disease. It is a scientific and logical method that exists naturally within ourselves, which gives us a balance, redeems us of our mental and physical troubles, comforts and counsels us.
PRAYER TO MOTHER KUNDALINI

Wake up Mother Kundalini.
Thou whose nature is Bliss Eternal—The Bliss of Brahman.
Thou dwelling like a serpent asleep at the lotus of Muladhara,
Sore, affected and distressed am I in body and mind,
Do thou bless me and leave thy place at the basic lotus.
Consort of Siva the Self-caused Lord of Universe,
Do thou take thy upward course through the central canal.
Leaving behind Svadhishthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Vishuddha, and Ajna.
Be thou united with Siva, thy Lord the God.
At Sahasrara—the thousand-petalled-lotus in the brain.
Sport there freely, O Mother, Giver of Bliss Supreme.
Mother, who is Existence, Knowledge, Bliss Absolute.
Wake up, Mother Kundalini! Wake up.

KUNDALINI

The word Kundalini is a familiar one to all students of Yoga, as it is well known as the power, in the form of a coiled serpent, residing in Muladhara Chakra, the first of the seven Chakras, the other six being Svadhishthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Visuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara, in order.

All Sadhanas in the form of Japa, meditation, Kirtan and prayer as well as all development of virtues, and observance of austerities like truth, non-violence and continence are at best calculated only to awaken this serpent-power and make it to pass through all the succeeding Chakras beginning from Svadhishthana to Sahasrara, the latter otherwise called as the thousand-petalled lotus, the seat of Sadasiva or the Parabrahman or the Absolute separated from whom the Kundalini or the Shakti lies at the Muladhara, and to unite with whom the Kundalini passes through all the Chakras, as explained above, conferring liberation on the aspirant who assiduously practises Yoga or the technique of uniting her with her Lord and gets success also in his effort.

In worldly-minded people, given to enjoyment of sensual and sexual pleasures, this Kundalini power is sleeping because of the absence of any stimulus in the form of spiritual practices, as the power generated through such practices alone awakens that serpent-power, and not any other power derived through the possession of worldly riches and affluence. When the aspirant seriously practises all the disciplines as enjoined in the Shastras, and as instructed by the preceptor, in whom the Kundalini would have already been awakened and reached its abode or Sadasiva, acquiring which blessed achievement alone a person becomes entitled to act as a Guru or spiritual preceptor, guiding and helping others also to achieve the same end, the veils or layers enmeshing Kundalini begin to be cleared and finally are torn asunder and the serpent-power is pushed or driven, as it were upwards.

Supersensual visions appear before the mental eye of the aspirant, new worlds with indescribable wonders and charms unfold themselves before the Yogi, planes after planes reveal their existence and grandeur to the practitioner and the Yogi gets divine knowledge, power and bliss, in increasing degrees, when Kundalini passes through Chakra after Chakra, making them to bloom in all their glory which before the touch of Kundalini, do not give out their powers, emanating their divine light and fragrance and reveal the divine secrets and phenomena, which lie concealed from the eyes of worldly- minded people who would refuse to believe of their existence even.

When the Kundalini ascends one Chakra or Yogic centre, the Yogi also ascends one step or rung upward in the Yogic ladder; one more page, the next page, he reads in the divine book; the more the Kundalini travels upwards, the Yogi also advances towards the goal or spiritual perfection in relation to it. When the Kundalini reaches the sixth centre or the Ajna Chakra, the Yogi gets the vision of Personal God or Saguna Brahman, and when the serpent-power reaches the last, the top centre, or Sahasrara Chakra, or the Thousand-petalled lotus, the Yogi loses his individuality in the ocean of Sat-Chit-Ananda or the Existence-Knowledge-Bliss Absolute and becomes one with the Lord or Supreme Soul. He is no longer an ordinary man, not even a simple Yogi, but a fully illumined sage, having conquered the eternal and unlimited divine kingdom, a hero having won the battle against illusion, a Mukta or liberated one having crossed the ocean of ignorance or the transmigratory existence, and a superman having the authority and capacity to save the other struggling souls of the relative world. Scriptures hail him most, in the maximum possible glorifying way, and his achievement. Celestial beings envy him, not excluding the Trinity even, viz., Brahma, Vishnu and Siva.

Kundalini And Tantrik Sadhana

Kundalini Yoga actually belongs to Tantrik Sadhana, which gives a detailed description about this serpent-power and the Chakras, as mentioned above. Mother Divine, the active aspect of the Existence- Knowledge-Bliss Absolute, resides in the body of men and women in the form of Kundalini, and the entire Tantrik Sadhana aims at awakening Her, and making Her to unite with the Lord, Sadasiva, in the Sahasrara, as described in the beginning in detail. Methods adopted to achieve this end in Tantrik Sadhana are Japa of the name of the Mother, prayer and various rituals.

Kundalini And Vedanta

But when we come to Vedanta, there is no question about Kundalini or any type of mystical and mechanical methods. It is all enquiry and philosophical speculation. According to Vedanta the only thing to be destroyed is ignorance about one's real nature, and this ignorance cannot be destroyed either by study, or by Pranayama, or by work, or by any amount of physical twisting and torturing, but only by knowing one's real nature, which is Sat-Chit-Ananda or Existence-Knowledge- Bliss. Man is divine, free and one with the Supreme Spirit always, which he forgets and identifies himself with matter, which itself is an illusory appearance and a superimposition on the spirit. Liberation is freedom from ignorance and the aspirant is advised to constantly dissociate himself from all limitations and identify himself with the all-pervading, non-dual, blissful, peaceful, homogeneous spirit or Brahman. When meditation becomes intensified, in the ocean of Existence or rather the individuality is blotted or blown out completely. Just as a drop of water let on a frying pan is immediately sucked and vanishes from cognition, the individual consciousness is sucked in by the Universal Consciousness and is absorbed in it. According to Vedanta there cannot be real liberation in a state of multiplicity, and the state of complete Oneness is the goal to be aspired for, towards which alone the entire creation is slowly moving on.

The Mysterious Kundalini

Manastvam Vyoma tvam Marudasi Marutsarathirasi,
Tvamapastvam Bhumistvayi parinatayam nahi param,
Tvameva Svatmanam parinamayitum visvavapusha
Chidanandakaram haramahishi-bhavena bibhrushe.
"O Devi! Thou art the mind, the sky, the air, the fire, the water, and the earth. Nothing is outside Thee on Thy transformation. Thou hast become Siva's consecrated queen to alter Thy own blissful conscious Form in the shape of the world".

Kundalini, the serpent power or mystic fire, is the primordial energy or Sakti that lies dormant or sleeping in the Muladhara Chakra, the centre of the body. It is called the serpentine or annular power on account of serpentine form. It is an electric fiery occult power, the great pristine force which underlies all organic and inorganic matter.

Kundalini is the cosmic power in individual bodies. It is not a material force like electricity, magnetism, centripetal or centrifugal force. It is a spiritual potential Sakti or cosmic power. In reality it has no form. The Sthula Buddhi and mind have to follow a particular form in the beginning stage. From this gross form, one can easily, understand the subtle formless Kundalini. Prana, Ahamkara, Buddhi, Indriyas, mind, five gross elements, nerves are all the products of Kundalini.

It is the coiled-up, sleeping Divine Sakti that lies dormant in all beings. You have seen in the Muladhara Chakra that there is Svayambhu Linga. The head of the Linga is the space where Sushumna Nadi is attached to the Kanda. This mysterious Kundalini lies face downwards at the mouth of Sushumna Nadi on the head of Svayambhu Linga. It has three and a half coils like a serpent. When it is awakened, it makes a hissing sound like that of a serpent beaten with a stick, and proceeds to the other Chakra through the Brahma Nadi, which is also called Chitra Nadi within Sushumna. Hence Kundalini is also called Bhujangini, serpent power. The three coils represent the three Gunas of Prakriti: Sattva, Rajas and Tamas, and the half represents the Vikritis, the modification of Prakriti.

Kundalini is the Goddess of speech and is praised by all. She Herself, when awakened by the Yogin, achieves for him the illumination. It is She who gives Mukti and Jnana for She is Herself that. She is also called Sarasvati, as She is the form of Sabda Brahman. She is the source of all Knowledge and Bliss. She is pure consciousness itself. She is Brahman. She is Prana Sakti, the Supreme Force, the Mother of Prana, Agni, Bindu, and Nada. It is by this Sakti that the world exists. Creation, preservation and dissolution are in Her. Only by her Sakti the world is kept up. It is through Her Sakti on subtle Prana, Nada is produced. While you utter a continuous sound or chant Dirgha Pranava ! (OM), you will distinctly feel that the real vibration starts from the Muladhara Chakra. Through the vibration of this Nada, all the parts of the body function. She maintains the individual soul through the subtle Prana. In every kind of Sadhana the Goddess Kundalini is the object of worship in some form or the other.[1]

Description of Kundalini

On the morning of November 18, 1996, at about 7:35 a.m. the father was asking Kash about his unique dream of Shri Mataji and putting the information into the computer. Kash's younger six-year-old son Arwinder, who was meditating nearby, suddenly opened his eyes and told his father that something yellowish had moved like a snake from his Mooladhara Chakra right up to the top of his head. He explained with hand gestures how it had snaked its way up, and was sure that it was in the form of a snake. Arwinder added that it was also very powerful as a flash of white lightning came out of his eyes when it reached the Sahasrara! He also added that he also saw different colors — red, yellow, green, blue — like "rainbow colors," one after another. (Probably he saw the different colors of the chakras.)
When Arwinder first told that he saw "something yellowish moving like a snake" he was questioned a few times to confirm the color as the father had not read or heard from any source the actual color of the kundalini. The quote below is from the book Kundalini Tantra, which was borrowed from a graduate of the Bihar School of Yoga (Yogi Alok Kumar Gupta) on January 1, 1997 i.e., after the above incident. Subsequently more information was obtained that confirmed Arwinder's description of the Kundalini.
"In the traditional descriptions of kundalini awakening, it is said the kundalini resides in Mooladhara in the form of a coiled snake and when the snake awakens it uncoils and shoots up through Sushumna (the psychic passage in the center of the spinal cord), opening the other chakras as it goes. (See Sir John Woodroffe's The Serpent Power.) Brahmachari Swami Vyasdev, in his book Science of the Soul, describes the awakening of kundalini in the following way: "Sadhakas have seen the Sushumna in the form of a luminous rod or pillar, a golden yellow snake, or sometimes as a shining black snake about ten inches long with blood red eyes like smoldering charcoal, the front part of the tongue vibrating and shining like lightning, ascending the spinal column."

The Mandala of Buddha Ratnasambhava and Cosmic Buddhas

The Mandala of Buddha Ratnasambhava and Cosmic Buddhas

This is a magnificent and slightly complicated mandala of Ratnasambhava who is one of the five Cosmic Buddhas. His color is yellow and he is the Lord of the jewel Buddha-clan, transcendent creator of the Buddhaverse of the south, Shrimat the Glorious. He represents the Cosmic element of vedana (sensation) and is the embodiment of slander (pishuna). He presides over the blood in the human system. He possesses the knowledge of samata (equality) and presides over the spring season. Ratnasambhava is associated with the addictions of avarice and pride, transmuting them into wisdom of equality. The earliest mention of his name may be found in the Guhyasamaja Tantra which is believed to have been composed circa 3rd century A.D. He is widely mentioned in Buddhist Tantric works. Out of all description the one given in the Panchakara section of Advyavajra sangrah is perhaps best.

Ratnasambhava is seated in diamond posture in the center of the square of the inner mandala. His identifying gesture is boon granting gesture, with right hand extended down, palm outward. His left hand is in meditation position and holding a pindapatra. There are four gateways in the inner square, protected by guardian deities. The protector deities also guard four corners of the square.

Over the four gateways of outer square are the images of Amoghasiddhi Buddha. The wrathful deities are protecting the corners of outer square of the mandala. The walls of the outer circle are decorated with stylized designs and Adepts. The Ferocious deities are also depicted on either side of each gate outside the walls. The square is surrounded with four circles. The outer one is of charnel ground and stupas, followed by a circle of ground and stupa, followed by a circle of fire fence, which is florally rendered here. Then there is a circle of auspicious symbols, images of Buddha and Adepts etc. After this comes a circle of lotus petals. Here the spiritual realm begins and one enters the mandala.

The Four mandalas of the Cosmic Buddhas are depicted outside the central mandala of Ratnasambhava. The mandala of the upper left corner is of Amitabha Buddha, the god of infinite light. The inner squares of all mandala have four gateways protected by guardian deities. The squares of these mandalas are surrounded with four circles – fire fence, charnel ground and stupas and lotus petals, respectively.

On the upper right corner is the mandala of Akshobhya Buddha, unshakable, the lord of the vajra clan. The mandala at the lower left corner is of Vairochana, the Lord of the Buddha clan. His hands are in preaching gesture. The lower right corner has the mandala of Amoghasiddhi, the Buddha of infallible magic. His right hand is in abhaya mudra, while the left hand, held in meditation position, is holding a pindapatra (begging bowel). The upper center is beautifully rendered perhaps with Shadakshari Lokeshvara. His both the hands are in anjali-mudra. A Buddha is seated at the bottom center and is surrounded with wrathful deities. The scene reminds the event of temptation of Shakyamuni by Mara.

The landscape contains the figures of wrathful and peaceful deities; Adepts, devotees; offerings, stupas, lakes etc. The painting has a border of syllable mantra in Tibetan script. This is perhaps a rare and handsome thangka of the Buddha Ratnasambhava. All the figures are brilliantly drawn painted.

Buddha Mudra

Buddha Mudra

Meditation

A silent gateway

sitting Zazen

asking, What is this?

what is it that floats from the mind-heart

on a wave of Unborn Buddha Mind?

the first syllable of a word left to dissolve

or a brilliant small bird springing up,

green wings quivering.

the third eye opening,

what does it see?

a metta chant for all beings

for the tender inhalation of awakening

or a flood of tears, jagged and liberating

rolling to the beads of my mala

but there are no answers

only the gateless gate

there to step through time and time again

in Zazen.

Water: The Most Powerful Element

Water: The Most Powerful Element

OM Times Magazine
February 13, 2011

by Michelle Whitedove

http://omtimes.com/2011/02/water-the-most-powerful-element/

Water is the most important element on earth. We are born of water from our mother’s womb. Our bodies are made up of seventy percent water. The Earth’s surface is covered by seventy percent water. Most plant life is ninety percent water. Humans need to consume water in order to survive. It is a crucial resource here on Earth.

Scientifically and spiritually speaking, water is an important superconductor. Shamans use water to heal, Seers use water as a window, and Priests use water to bless. It can also be used as tool at your bedside to help you tap into the dream time or spirit plane.

There is a secret world related to many bodies of water such as the oceans, lakes, ponds, creeks, and rivers. These waterways are also portals to other realms. The Earth Angels use bodies of water as doorways to our world. The dolphins and whales are spiritual creatures that access these portals. If these mammals go extinct, and leave us, this is a sign to all of mankind that humanity will also perish.

Water is also the most powerful force of Mother Nature, which is the feminine part of God. If you look back through time there are records of cleansings the world with floods, ice, storms, and many catastrophic events that have been conducted to clear an area or population that has fallen from grace. The great land of “Lemuria” was taken back by the sea after one swift blow. “Atlantis” was taken with three hard hits, an entire civilization gone, and the land sunk back into the ocean. The biblical story of Noah is well known, and science is still trying to prove or disprove this world wide flood.

Again today we as a collective group are experiencing Mother Nature’s power on a global scale. The ocean floors are opening, and heat is escaping which is raising the temperature and warming the water. This is causing cataclysmic events to unfold all over the world. Naturally this will affect the marine life. But also it is greatly influencing the land masses above sea level. In the coming years, you will witness ancient civilizations that were lost, and they will rise from the ocean floors. Atlantis will be seen again.

The ocean is still a big mystery to modern men of science, as well as the general population. We have yet to discover what lies in the deep. Truly it is a world of its own, with secrets yet to be discovered. Our oceans can be kind and supply mankind with gifts of exotic foods and the safe passage of ships that travel great distances. But at the same time, if we don’t care for her (the Ocean), she can be quite destructive. It is up to us, based on our actions and choices that will determine her response.

Whether you realize it our not, currently we are experiencing a natural cleansing by way of floods, tsunamis, and hurricanes. The oceans are warming up and its occupants are evolving and some are dying. As I view the globe, I see the Earth has tilted off its axis, the magnetic poles are shifting, and the tectonic plates are moving. This is causing fissures deep in the ocean floor, (many unknown to man) to open and allow heat to escape from the Earth’s crust into the seas. All this movement will cause earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tidal waves.

New Orleans is a prime example of a water cleansing; Mother Earth is cleaning and purging herself from the certain areas that are polluted and toxic. Unfortunately I have been shown that New Orleans will take another hit. The levees will not be strong enough and water will pour though and meet the land. It will simply be washed away with anything else in its path.

Other places will also experience Mother Nature’s wrath. South Florida from the Palm beaches to the Florida Key’s will continue to experience devastating hurricanes, flooding, and tornadoes. California’s coastlines will be hit by the oceans moving inland, causing much of the coastline to recede dramatically. Our East coast shorelines will also move inland. Japan and many other islands will be hit by tsunamis, tidal waves, earthquakes, and flooding.

Why is this happening? Because the Earth is shifting quickly and moving to a higher frequency. As If that is not enough for humanity to cope with, there will also be man made disasters created by our governments. It is a hard fact to look at, and many people will be in denial, but the government has the capability to seed storms, create hurricanes, and direct them to areas that they want hit. Then label them natural disasters. Man should not play God or interfere with Mother Nature. She is very unpredictable in the days that we are currently living. She is doing only what is necessary based on our actions and timing. This is a very special era in the history of the Earth as well as our evolution. I refer to this time as “the ascension” or “The Awakening.”

Think of this as humanity’s time to graduate. Individually, we are being given the opportunity to shift with the Mother Earth to a higher vibration. We have the choice to raise our awareness and consciousness. The solution is for each of us to wake up and take responsibility for ourselves. Each person will need to become spiritually aware and then take action. This will lead to the collective masses becoming awake and active — in turn, creating a powerful shift to construct a better world. The paradise that once was Earth can be again. We are co-creators with Mother, Father, God, and the Holy Spirit. “Free Will” is our birthright. So we have the power to take action and choose to recreate Utopia. The time is now.

I choose hope, love, and light over fear and darkness. It will take twenty five percent of the world population to change our outcome for a better future. That is a small percentage of people, and it proves just how powerful the light and the unconditional love of God is. The part of God that resides within all of us.

how to recite mantra

When you recite a mantra, you touch the palate with your tongue. In the palate, there are 84 meridian points, 64 in the hard palate and 20 in the soft palate. This vibration goes from the hypothalamus, the one that directs the actions of the pituitary gland, and governs the endocrine systems, or, the one in charge of releasing chemicals and hormones throughout the body, to the brain. This vibration (frequency) releases chemical hormones that balance the body, and have healing effects, emotional effects, and effects on one’s well being.

The water

The water photographs are beautiful and look like snowflakes.

The human body is composed of 70% water. This explains why the vibrations affect us, not only the mantras but also the words we use in our daily lives.

Feng Shui Your Personal Attractiveness and Appearence

Feng Shui Your Personal Attractiveness and Appearence

It’s no secret that people are attracted and want to be around ‘beautiful and successful” people. Whether it at home , the office or poolside at the hotel complex on your vacation it is no secret that when we see attractive people it is hard not to think , imagine or even fantasize that their looks , and even intrigue cannot but of help made lives easier, smoother and indeed almost trouble free. What does the philosophy and application of the art of Feng Shui have to say in such matters of thought and consideration?

While it is true that attractive and even “beautiful people” can be said to have just as chances & probabilities to life and its benefits and gifts somehow “those people” seem to get ahead. Whether it’s the amount and quality of friends that they attract, the jobs, education and careers they cultivate, or even their vacations and holidays they always seem to get ahead and as well have way more fun.

But what in the end and in essence really makes one beautiful? After all is not all beauty and appreciation ultimately and singly in the eye and eyes and the beholder and beholders?

To the Chinese way of thinking and the basic philosophies of Feng Shui beauty is solely in the eyesight and vision of the receiving party – the beholder. You are what you eat in essence and in this case you are as beautiful as you perceive that are.

Indeed the Chinese – as shown and expounded in the great and diverse teachings and thoughts expressed in Feng Shui have along with, and as a compliment or add-on to the science and practices of Feng Shui The Chinese have developed an old , respected and revered ancient art passed down millennia simply referred to and called “face reading”.

Chinese “Face Reading” in essence and basically is a system or reading, clarifying the vital importance of, characterizing and recording / even cataloging the placements of a person’s eyes ,forehead, nose and even moles as imperfect as they may be. Even simple pimples of the “zits” can be a harbinger of our personal fortune yet to come.

What are some of the lessons and implorations that can be drawn from Chinese face readings? First of all that skin quality itself is of vital importance and may well affect our chances and options in life. Secondly as you well guessed it already, that outward appearance and appearances greatly affects the luck or mazel that a person will experience along the pathways of our lifetimes. Don’t count out simple skin moles and pimples. They too may have great effect in your life and the lives of family and close friends. Again as can be expected facial flaws can draw and even attract problems your way. Noses fortune good or poor fortune yet to come.

In the end while there is no question that Feng Shui and Chinese “face readings” have much to say and great implications for our fortunes or future opportunities along the roads and pathways of our lives it is up to us to make the best of our lives , our assets and indeed lack of assets in particular and specific area. It can be said that “you are what you are and you aren’t what you are not.” Get on with your life and make the best of it. Feng Shui!

What is Hematite

What is Hematite

Hematite is usually a metal silver to black colour. It can also come in a slightly dark reddish tinge. It can often be found with other minerals such as Jasper and Tiger Eye which is known as Tiger Iron. Interesting Facts:
Hematite can become magnetic once it has been heated.
It is bright red when in powder form.
Hematite gets its name from a greek word meaning blood-like from the red colour of the powder form.
Through ancient superstition, Hematite was believed to form where battles had been fought and blood spilt.

Ring symbolism

STONEHENGE "Let mathematicians and geometricians talk of circles and triangles charms, The figure I prize is a girl with bright eyes, and the circle that's formed by her arms." (Anon)

 Ring symbolism

The unbroken circle is an age-old symbol of eternity. It's easy to see why such an ancient symbol should be incorporated into a wedding ceremony, when 'everlasting love' is the hope of the couple, their families and friends. Nice idea, but sadly, just giving a ring does not ensure everlasting love.

The ring does not represent enslavement either; a more permanent mark could be made with a branding iron or a tattooed bar-code on the forehead1. No, the ring represents neither everlasting love nor bondage; rather it's a token stemming from ancient magic. Plato's plate "The soul is a circle" (Plato) "Glory is like a circle in the water, Which never ceaseth to enlarge itself Till by broad spreading it disperse to naught3." (William Shakespeare) Typhoons, convection currents, the arc of a rainbow.

Roundness is a very natural shape. A ring is a circle (you've probably noticed that) and a circle has very strong magical connotations. The circle is endless and timeless suggesting a repetitive unbroken wholeness in time and space. It even suggests reincarnation to some people. "Everything tries to be round" says Black Elk (1863-1950) an Oglala Sioux holy man. It's the strongest and most 'natural' shape. Eggs and most fruit are round (especially when dissected in the middle).

A bird builds its nest in a circle. Fairy rings. Crop circles. Sharks and vultures circle their dinner. The earth is round, rotates, and orbits2. Small wonder that we get dizzy sometimes. Our lives move in repeated and interwoven circles. We leave home, go to work, return home. Work until we are tired, sleep until we are refreshed, work, sleep, work. We are born of dust, live, and return to dust.

Our blood circulates in our bodies. Each of us operates on a circadian rhythm of about 24 hours; our 'biological clock' (see also so-called 'biorhythms'). With the orbiting of the earth and moon, our day moves in a circle, as do our months (see days-months-seasons). Because of this, astrology had a huge influence on the way our ancestors perceived the world and the meaning of life. Stonehenge is a 5,000-year-old circle of huge stones in southern England, which may have been a pagan temple, built on top of a cemetery. An equally old stone circle in Scotland was, until recently, used in nuptials.

Circle studies have been going round (!) for years. In Greek mythology, Hesiod (c700 BC) wrote about Prometheus, son of a Titan, and brother to Atlas and Epimetheus. Prometheus stole fire from Zeus and gave it to humans to play with. Zeus was flaming mad about this and chained Prometheus to a rock as punishment. Not much of a punishment, you might think, but there's an added twist: An eagle, or some other great bird, descended on Prometheus and ate his liver. The liver regenerated itself overnight, only to be eaten again by the eagle the following day.

In addition, Zeus sent Pandora to Prometheus' brother, Epimetheus. She brought him a jar, which Epimetheus assumed was a wedding gift, but on opening it, saw it contained "evils, harsh pain and troublesome diseases which give men death". She snapped the lid shut but not quickly enough. All the evils had escaped and were free to inflict themselves on mankind. She only managed to retain one element, the one real gift, the gift of hope.

Eventually Hercules released Prometheus from the rock but as a reminder of his crime, he was forced to wear a link of the chain on his finger with a bit of the rock attached. Was this the origin of the custom for attaching a precious stone to a finger ring? Was this the inspiration for the Romans, who forced worn-out slaves to wear an iron finger-ring as a reminder that although they were released from work, they were never completely free from bondage? And today, some parolees are forced to wear electronic ankle bracelets. (The liver-eating eagle idea has not been retained. Another ancient Greek writer, Empedocles (490-430 BC)4, was more philosophical, when he said "The nature of God is a circle of which the centre is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere", but in Greek of course.

Circles are important symbols in many religions. Fundamental concepts of Sikhism are reflected in the Khanda. This includes a Chakra (a weapon of Vishnu) which is circular and symbolizes the perfection of God. Hindus and Buddhists have a similar disc in the Wheel of Dharma. For Muslims, the Qur'an talks of Solomon's magic ring that could exorcise demons.

In Judaism and Christianity, we read in Ezek. 1 about mysterious rings appearing in the sky. Yes, flying saucers are also circular. The circular halo that we sometimes see around the sun and moon is usually depicted on icons in various religious to depict the bearer's brilliance.

Spiritual Honey

Honey is the only food that does not spoil.

Honey is the only natural food made without destroying any form of life. Pure ripe honey does not have to be digested before it is absorbed into the bloodstream.

Daily use of honey has been proven to ward off fatigue.

Honey is a safe and gentle laxative.

Honey is good for sore throats and chafed skin

Honey induces the flow of saliva which promotes digestion

Honey as a hair restorer was famous during the middle ages US News and world report stated that honey had been proven to heal wounds that are difficult to heal especially for diabetic sores.

Honey has been used to prevent osteoporosis

 Honey promotes longevity of life

Honey has been used as a hair conditioner, facial cleanser, and an aid to digestion. The natural healing properties of honey are undisputed.

Health Benefits of HONEY

Health Benefits of Honey

– Introduction Look, the thing I want to do now we’re talking about health benefits of honey is to give you some plain facts and get rid of all that hype you will see all over the internet, usually on web sites that are trying to sell you honey. If you buy some honey as a result of the information here – great! But actually the real reason for this web site is that I want to share with you my real fascination with bees and honey. One of the problems with honey is that it is a very complex substance.

According to the Nursing Times in 2008, a paper by Stefan Bogdanov of the Swiss Bee Research Center estimates that it contains some 600 components.
Even today, research hasn’t solved all of its mysteries. We have a whole history of stories going back literally thousands of years about how people have used honey to cure a wide range of ailments – but not all of these cures have so far been backed up by scientific research. At least not so far. New research is being carried out all the time.

What this means is that some of the health claims made for honey, although not proven scientifically today, may be proven tomorrow. But of course there are many claims that will no doubt be discredited aswell. So what I’m going to do on this page is to take a look at some of the (as yet) unproven claims that people make for what honey can do, and then look at the health-giving properties of honey that for which we have some solid scientific evidence.

First of all, though, let’s take a look at how we humans have used honey through the ages:

A Short History of Honey The first recorded use of honey that we know of is on a fragment of clay tablet found in Sumeria (now an area of southern Iraq), dating from about 2500BC. They had no paper in those days and used clay slabs instead to record just about everything, which is just as well because paper would have been long gone by now and we would never have known about this important civilization. Anyway, the text on this tablet describes an ointment for wounds where one of the ingredients was, you guessed it, honey.

By the time we reached 1500BC, the old clay tablets had gone the way of the steam engine and the Egyptians recorded everything on the world’s earliest paper, or papyrus. Miraculously, some of these records survived until modern times, don’t as me how, and one of them, known as the Egyptian Ebers Papyrus mentions the use of honey to heal wounds.

Between 460 and 377BC the ancient Greek Hippocrates, known as the “father of medicine” described in his extensvie journals how he used honey combined with other natural ingredients for treating wounds, ulcers and even hemorrhoids. roman soldiers used to carry honey in their medical kits for dealing with wounds, and the use of honey in this way was common in India and China in ancient times. The Bible mentions honey many times, mainly as an essential food rather than a medicine, but the Koran, dating from about 650AD, mentions honey’s healing properties.

Now we go to England – the year is 1403 and we are in a field just to the North of the medieval town of Shrewsbury where the infamous Battle of Shrewsbury battle is taking place.

The Royal surgeon John Bradmore, in his diaries known as the Philomena, tells us what happened to Prince Hal during this bloody battle. The prince received an arrow wound to the face and the arrowhead remained embedded in the wound (ouch). The surgeon had a special pair of iron tongs made which he planned to insert into the wound and screw into the socket at the back of the arrowhead, allowing it to be pulled out. To get the tongs in, he needed to enlarge the hole, which he did by carefully forcing in wooden rods of increasing diameter infused with rose honey (double ouch!). Anyway, the plan worked, and the arrowhead was removed! The surgeon then applied an ointment of flour, barley, honey and oil to what you can imagine would have been a nasty wound. Soon, Prince Hal made a full recovery, and later went on to become King Henry V. Honey’s use in this way fell out of fashion in the Western world when alternative antibiotics were developed after World War II, but its use for treating wounds and burns in Africa, India and the Middle East has continued to this today. More recently, there has been a revival of interest in the West, mainly because of the growing demand for natural remedies, but also because honey has been shown to kill bacteria that are resistant to other drugs – but more on that later.

First, let’s take a quick look at some of the wild and wacky claims about honey: Some Health-giving Powers of Honey – Yet to be Proven!

Well, as far as I can tell, although there is anecdotal evidence of the following claims, I can’t find any hard evidence. If you know of any scientific evidence for any of these claims, please let me know straight away so I can update the information and keep this page accurate.

In 1995, the supermarket tabloid Weekly World News published what was (I hope) intended as a humorous article making many wild claims about honey and cinnamon. (This is the newspaper that reported in 1999 how a Japanese woman had been living in wedded bliss for six years with a gravity-defying alien.) Anyway, these are some of the claims, none of which was backed by any evidence: Honey: strengthens the heartbeat and prevents heart attacks cures arthritis within a week cures toothache increases life-span and allows a 100-year-old to perform the chores of a 20-year-old causes weight loss because it does not allow fat to accumulate even if a high-calorie diet is eaten makes the elderly more alert and flexible cures deafness cures bone and stomach cancer within one month If only… What’s really funny about the claims from this one satirical article is that you will find them quoted word-for-word as FACT on literally thousands of web sites – many of which are trying to sell you honey. Unfortunately, I can offer you no evidence to back up these claims, so without further delay I think we’d better return to planet earth and take a look at some of the benefits of honey that are supported by hard evidence from the scientific community:

Honey as a Treatment – The Facts I have a whole separate article on the subject of if you are looking for information on honey as part of your diet, but here I want to look at its healing properties when it’s used as a treatment: Healer of cuts and wounds: a trial on 59 patients with wounds and ulcers was conducted by S. Efem in 1988 and reported in the British Journal of Surgery.

Honey straight from the hive was applied to the wounds daily, and 58 out of 59 cases showed “remarkable improvement”, with any infections cleared within a week. The one patient who did not respond had an ulcer infected with mycobacteria for which the honey was found to be ineffective.

Professor Peter Molan of the University of Waikato in New Zealand, the proclaimed researcher into honey and its effects, has published many papers on the subject. He has shown that honey has several properties that help wounds to heal. Wounds heal faster when they are kept moist. This often causes ideas conditions for bacteria to grow.

Honey attracts water and makes a moist pool over the wound, which is idea for healing, but this moisture does not cause bacteria to grow as it usually would, because the honey kills the bacteria. Also, when honey is used between a dressing and the wound, it stops the healing wound from sticking to the dressing, so when the dressing is changed, there is less risk of damaging the healing wound. Sore throat soother: honey has been used to soothe coughs and sore throats for a very long time, and may come back into favor for children following advice in 2007 from the US Food and Drug Agency that over-the-counter cough medicines should not be given to children under two because it is to easy to give an overdose in such tiny bodies.

This was followed in 2008 by advice from the regulatory body for medicines in the UK, the MHRA, that honey and lemon should be used instead of these medicines for this age group. Having said all that, you should know that current FDA advice is that you don’t give honey to a child under 12 months old, so what you are supposed to do to soothe a cough in that agegroup?

Now, ask 100 people what natural remedy you would use for a cough, and I bet you at least 75 will say “honey and lemon”. That’s why it pains me to have to tell you that despite all the research into honey, I can’t find hard evidence that honey is better than over-the-counter medicine on coughs and sore throats. There is a 2007 study by the U.S. National Honey Board, comparing honey, dextromethorphan (the active ingredient in many cough medicines) and no treatment at all. This study was picked up by the press and you will find it mis-reported all over the internet as evidence that honey is more effective than dextromethorphan in treating coughs. I am here to tell you that this study found no such thing.

The difference between the results for the honey and for the conventional medicine were statistically insignificant. The study DID find that honey produced better results than “no treatment” – BUT this study was seriously flawed because those receiving “no treatment” knew they were getting no treatment as they were not given any dummy medicine, and the rating of improvement in the cough was by parents completing a survey. Now I’m not against honey – as you know, I love it!

I would like nothing more than to tell you all how good honey is for coughs. But I’ve built a reputation for straight-talking when it comes to the health benefits of honey, so I’m taking great pains here not to mislead you. What we certainly do have is hard evidence that honey is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, but that’s not quite the same thing as proving it will sooth a cough or sore throat. Look – all I can say is this: people have been taking honey for coughs and sore throats all over the world for centuries, and many say it works for them.

FDA advice is not to give honey to babies under 12 months, and those with a honey allergy should avoid it – but if you’re not in these groups, it’s not going to harm you, so you can always give it a try and make your own mind up. Healer of burns: a study carried out over the six-year period from 1987 to 1993 on 450 patients, by M.Subrahmanyam at the Solapur Medical College, India, claimed that burns healed faster and with less scarring than with conventional treatments. Antibactierial agent: A 1998 report for the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (the equivalent of the US Food and Drug Administration) noted the four antibacterial attributes of honey: low water content, acidity, hydrogen peroxide content, and other “uncharacterised” antibacterial compounds.

In 1999 the same Administration approved honey for medical use. Medical honey is now sold as a wound dressing in pharmacies there. Immune system booster: It was reported in the journal “Medical Oncology” in 2006 that a trial on 30 cancer patients had been carried out using a brand of honey called “Life Mel”.

Chemotherapy often causes a low white blood cell count, leading to higher possibility of catching infections, and this is usually combatted with conventional drugs.

All 30 patients had suffered with low white blood cell counts during previous batches of chemotherapy, but when honey was taken during the trial chemotherapy period, 12 of these patients did not develop abnormally low white blood cell counts and therefore did not need any drug-based treatment for this condition. This is of course a very small trial. Killer of drug-resistant bacteria: In 2008 the journal “Clinical Infectious Diseases” reported a study by the University of Amsterdam in which medical-grade honey was shown to be extremely effective in killing bacteria on the skin.

This study concluded that honey would be effective in killing even drug-resistant bacteria. This was confirmed by a Northern Ireland study by Yasunori Maeda and others, reported in 2008 in the “Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice” journal. This new testtube-based study applied several types of honey to CA-MRSA organisms (a known drug-resistant bacteria).

In all cases the MRSA was destroyed by the honey within 24 hours. Cancer preventative: In 2004 the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) reported a trial at the University of Zagreb in which mice were injected with cancerous cells and fed honey. Some of the mice were fed honey for 10 days before they were injected with the cancer, and some were fed after they were injected with the cancer. The cancer was shown to be less likely to spread in the mice that had been fed with honey before the cancer was introduced.

Unfortunately, when the honey was given after the cancer had been introduced, secondary cancer growth was more likely to occur. So we have a mixed message here and those involved in this trial recommended more thorough and widespread research into honey and cancer. So there you have it. There have been enough studies and trials to establish beyond all doubt that honey has some important health benefits. But remember, if you find yourself reading some wild claim or other about honey, take a look to see if it’s backed up by reputable scientific research. http://world-of-honey.com/benefits-of-honey/health-benefits-of-honey/

Cleaning, Programming, & Care of Crystals and Stones

Cleaning, Programming, & Care of Crystals and Stones

After selecting your crystal/stone/gem, and before you use it, be sure to clean it. Several people have touched your crystal and it is best to start fresh and clean with a strong positively charged stone. Additionally, be sure to clean your stones if they have not been used in a long time, after each use when you are using them to clear negative energy or illness, and when you feel they need a recharge.Remember as much assistance as stones can give they do not take place of professional medical attention.

Some stones will actually turn colors or lose power and effectiveness due to misuse or poor storage considerations. Be very careful which stones you place in UV and sunlight for long periods of time.

Generally clear crystals benefit from sun light but even then you must be careful that the crystal does not get overheated and burn out or crack due to excessive heat that the sun can easily cause.

Never store your crystals in the dark. Both male and female crystals like the sunlight.

Be careful of what stones you store together in a pouch. Think about the quality of each stone and be sure you do not have conflicting energies together. It is best to make separate pouches or to separate stones in some way so that the stones do not actually touch one another.

A small box or chest with a cloth will allow you to bunch the fabric up a little between each stone.

Never put the following stones in direct UV or sunlight for a long period of time. They will change color or become paler and will be weakened. Once the color has faded you can not get the color back and it is the color that additionally offers the useful properties of the stone since colors are also vibrations.

In order to cleanse these stones that are sensitive to light be sure to use the moon, salt or ground method of cleaning depending on the stone.

There are many methods of cleaning stones and you must use common sense and have some knowledge of the stone and what you are cleaning it of to select the best cleansing method.

Please note that in using any information on this web site that you do so at your own risk and under the terms stated in our Policy.

SEA SALT DRY- Use with caution. This is probably the best all around method to use. Sea salt may be caustic to some softer stones, damage finishes on stones, or effect the encasing of jewelry stones. If you live near an ocean you can use the ocean itself to clean your stone but as many of us do not we must settle for purchasing sea salt. Do not use table salt since it contains additions that are not in the best interest of cleaning your stone. Place the stone with the point downward in the sea salt and leave 24 hours.

SEA SALT WET - Use with caution. Sea salt may be caustic to some softer stones, damage finishes on stones, or effect the encasing of jewelry stones. Most importantly is to use a good sprint water. Do not use tap water. Use 1/2 cup of sea salt to 1 cup natural sprint water. Allow to soak 8-24 hours depending on the stone and the need. Allow to dry natural either in the sun or moonlight depending on the stone. A

CLEANING CRYSTAL - You can purchase a large crystal that is specifically used to clean other crystals, discharge negativities, and recharge a stone. The cleaning crystal itself must be programmed for this use and taken proper care of to assist you. For those who use stones a lot or who uses them on others cleaning and recharging stones can become very time consuming. A cleaning crystal saves a lot of time and often works better than some of the individual cleaning methods.

MOONLIGHT - Place your stone in the full moon light. This of course can't be done at any time and should only be done during the single night of the full moon.

SMUDGE - Using sage, sweatgrass, frankincense or cedar to smudge the stone. Allow the stone to rest for several hours afterwards.

SAND/EARTH - Some very natural stones prefer to return to Mother Earth to be cleaned. This method is best for unpolished non-jewelry natural stones. Place the stones in sand or earth then using a natural spring water pour about a cup over the place where the stone is buried and allow it to regenerate for 24 hours.

The Aura

http://www.lobsangrampa.org/auras.html

The Aura is alike a magnetic field in pattern; but not actually magnetic in characteristics as its electrical, which again surrounds the whole body of every living creature. This field will show the current health of the physical form and any future ailments before they actually manifest in the physical as an illness. Also the aura very clearly shows people's intentions, thoughts and actions, nothing can ever be hidden. The emanation of lines flows between the Chakras of the body, there are seven Chakras for the physical and two more for the Spiritual body; nine in total. Many constantly forget the two spiritual Chakras, and yet we are all spiritual beings; therefore they cannot be ignored.

All animals, plants, birds, insects and fish have, and can either see or perceive auras, cats are very special as they can see both the physical and spiritual planes at the same time, hence they are sometimes called the eye's of the gods. If someone could develop an aura camera it would save testing on defenceless animals which is completely wrong and against the laws of nature.

Nirvana

Nirvana - Is a word or concept which is usually quite beyond Western comprehension. Probably Nirvana is the most misunderstood of Eastern terms;it is not a place and never will be. It is instead the elimination of those desires which are wrong. It is the elimination of scandal, the elimination of perjury, greed, lust, and other human faults.

Many scholars forget that when translating, there are countless words in the Eastern language that don't have any Western connotation; and vice versa. Because of this, many translations are bastardized according to whoever is doing the translation and to their way of thinking or belief.

If you find this hard to comprehend look at the many words used today which have no bearing on their original meaning. i.e. the word Gay originally meant joyous and in high spirits yet today it's been discounted and used to depict homosexuals and now the BBC bossed have ruled the word gay now means rubbish and is being used in schools; therefore it's fine to use on air. The word Wicked originally meant morally wrong and bad yet today it's also been discounted and used to depict excellent.

Society will except any false misconception as actual fact, and the proof today is in the humble coffee bean; because it's not really a Bean. The name bean was created and used by those in the coffee trade and it's really a cherry by the name of Peaberry. If you think how confusing this can be for someone today, then think what it will be like for those in the future trying to translate today's language, any translations will be mistranslated.

Astrology

Astrology has fascinated the world for millions of years and over those millions of years it's changed from its original concept. Example; their used to be thirteen star signs and now there are twelve. I am not going to cover the history of astrology just highlight the current format used today for horoscopes very briefly. Each star sign can be further divided into 30 degree quadrants. Astrological ages occur because of a phenomenon known as the precession of the equinoxes. One complete period of this precession is called a Great Sidereal Year of about 25,800 to 25,920 years and it is divided in twelve astrological ages of 30 degrees each

Astrology is very real and very much misunderstood by many. Horoscopes CAN accurately predict someone's path in life, but not the clap-trap which is printed in newspapers and magazines. Thousands of years ago people would consult the oracle before undertaking any major change to their lives, to understand when the best time would be right that benefits everyone. Sadly today it's commerce who decides to everyone's loss. Many years ago astrology was extraordinarily accurate because it was founded on a new science, the influence of the stars on objects of this Earth - humans, animals, plants, etc - had been predicated, and those as assumptions were accurate so long as the zodiac remained as it was when the assumptions were made. It's also written in the Bible.

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace
Now, a few thousand years later, the zodiac is different and the predictions, the forecasts are all wrong.Astrology, as it is in the West nowadays, is just a complete waste of time, it is utterly inaccurate for the simple reason that no allowance has been made for the difference in the configuration of the zodiac. Everyone; including animals, has to live through every 30 degree quadrant of each zodiac sign as male and female. You actually reincarnate thousand of times depending on the many lessons to be learnt and the speed you learn.

The Truth May Set You Free

The Truth May Set You Free

Theory: There is much confusion about the spiritual/psychic world. A little known fact is that some nasty thoughts in your head are not your own. You can develop the strength to resist them, and it is important you do so. Also, you MUST know that all that glitters is not gold.
Know that a lot of negative emotions, destructive thoughts, nasty thoughts, obnoxious imagery and so on are probably not products of your own mind, but of a nearby dark being's. To know that you are not crazy, that the voices really aren't yours, can be a great relief. Now you need to work on getting rid of them. Don't let the knowledge of outside influence make you irresponsible; you still have the duty to silence dark thoughts and to not act on them. Pray for the removal and rescue of those who speak inside your mind.
(Note: Sometimes negative emotions and destructive thoughts are not from a nearby dark entity's, but your nearby distressed family member, coworker, or friend! I've had a day where I was extremely upset for no reason and later realized I was picking it up from a coworker having US visa problems! If you are empathic or telepathic, you MUST be aware of your vulnerabilities and you should work on a close relationship with the loving God.)
Do not yield to temptations, and don't let life in this world push you into "selling your soul" for a short-term gain; this not only hurts others and yourself, but it helps dark ones get a handle on you for later attack. On the other hand, if you have done so already, don't despair. I heard from someone else a really marvelous line, apparently addressed from a good spirit to a lost spirit: "We know you sold your soul. But God didn't recognize the sale. Come on home"!
Do not assume you deserve what you get! Don't guilt trip yourself. Also, if you hear voices or subtle thoughts that say that you deserve suffering, or that the ordeal is actually a good thing, tell those thoughts and voices to go away --- they are likely coming from someone who is not looking out for your best interests. I don't think God wants us to suffer, even if suffering may sometimes be necessary. Even a karma debt does not have to be repaid by suffering; it can be repaid by good work, and by seeking God's forgiveness. God does not punish us, if we come humbly, and does not subject us to judgment trials. God applies mercy to the repentent, and loves the unlovable!
Do not consider suicide as an escape. Many suicides who have had near death experiences report that suicide is wrong -- some even say it is a crime, and many suggest great suffering will result. The general gist remains: don't do it. Suicide is what demons want you to do -- don't listen to them, and don't fall into their clutches. Don't give them reason to gloat in triumph (and they DO gloat - rescued suicides have reported hearing them) -- instead, seek God, ask God to rescue the demons or (if rehab is not possible) bring them to justice, and in the meantime LIVE and enjoy life. Remember, while there's physical life, there's also hope. Go, seek, ask, knock, and wait with patience when necessary.
Know yourself to be a soul that lives past death. The fallen can rise again. Even physical death is not the end, and there really is Light at the end of the tunnel.
Warning: If you meet spirits that claim to be angels, do not necessarily trust them. Some radiant beings merely reflect light or channel light (like optical fiber), instead of generating it themselves out of love. Some "angels" are more interested in making themselves your spirit guides, and slowly, imperceptibly make you dependent on them for guidance, aid, advice, information, and so on. They also tend to emphasize special treatment, telling you that you are somehow special or better than most other people. Finally, they tend to make reincarnation sound like the cure-all and end-all and something to be done over and over, but remember the highest of religious teachers have discouraged reincarnation throughout history. You do not have to reincarnate to "erase" karmic debts. All these are extremely subtle deceptions, but the danger is real. The road starts quite plain and straight and wonderful, but slowly, slowly, it curves away. Be wary! Here are some resources that might help you tell good from fake good.

Pray during .During A Psychic Attack

Pray for God/"the Light" and/or Jesus to:
Send to you a team of rescuing angels.
Ask that these angels rescue or remove any dark beings from you and fill you with light
Ask that they sever dark connections leading to you and to rescue or remove the sources of the connections
Ask that they remove and/or destroy any dark thought-forms (curses and such) attached or connected to you.
Ask that the angels shield you from further attack (at least for now).
Ask that your surroundings (your home, maybe) be cleaned of darkness and filled with light.
Ask for God's blessings and wisdom in your life.
Note: it helps immensely to elevate your spirit with thankfulness and joy if you possibly can

Drop any nasty, mean, or bizarro thoughts. Hang up! Disconnect! Shake free! Disown any yucky thoughts!
If it's dark, turn on a light. If it's nice out, seek some sunshine.
Pray! Pray to God, focusing on faith and gratitude as much as you can
Pray that God send a team of angels to assist you
Pray that God's will be done
Thank God
(If you feel nauseated by the idea of praying, it's even more important that you do so!)
Mentally "cut away" any perceived darkness from around you.
Get up and move around! (Wash some dishes ;)
Shut off your imagination and focus on the here-and-now. Definitely stop worrying and fretting!
Go grab something (preferably healthy) to eat/drink.
Distract your mind with a positive book or magazine. You can even use down-to-earth, purely materialistic catalogs if necessary. No weird stuff, just plain daily life stuff.
Get a tape or CD of hymns/good music and listen! (If it's late at night, you can fall asleep to the music. Cling to the uplifting quality.) Even better than just listening, sing along. Christmas music is GREAT for this.
Count your blessings -- list good and beautiful things from your life.
Do something nice for somebody. The below are some ideas.
Go write a loving email/letter/thank-you-card.
Report a cashier's friendly attitude to management!
Cut some flowers (or buy 'em) for your neighbors.
Volunteer with a soup kitchen or donate to an animal shelter
Give to charity -- yes, go write that check.
Just plain smile warmly at someone!
Pray for your friends and the people you pass by!
Key: care for someone else in a way that is absorbing and helps you forget your problems.
Long-term, go on a spiritual elevation "diet" -- see "Elevate Yourself" section below -- and strive always to move closer to God.

Face Fengshui

Chinese doctors have used the ancient art of face reading since the time of Confucius as an aid to diagnosis and a way of helping their patients. Close observation of the face afforded them a deep knowledge of the personality of their patients.

There were also professional face readers during this time that combined the roles of priest, astrologer and counselor. They were well-educated men with great compassion for human frailty. The Chinese understood the concept that the face represents the energies, health and fortune of a person and they wished to live in harmony with these, and with the prevailing energies of the five elements, yin and yang, and the seasons. This wisdom has seen a huge resurgence in the West during the past 20 years with the growth of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Feng Shui and Qi Gong.

Chinese face reading is as relevant today as it was in the past and its use is cross-cultural. We all have a blend of elements and all faces reflect part of nature pattern. Face reading first appeared in China during the 6th century BC, possibly as the specialty of magic men not affiliated to any religion. It is thought that they were probably Taoist shamans from rural areas such as Szechwan who specialized in non-traditional deviational arts. By 220 BC, the art of face reading was established in Chinese life and classic treatises, such as the Golden Scissors and Bamboo Chronicles, were written at this time.

The Principles of Face Reading:
The starting principles of face reading are the cosmic energies of the five elements and yin and yang. The elements are symbols and represent qualities of energy within each person that are reflected in the face. An elaborate physical, psychological and emotional profile can be built up, incorporating the energies of the features, the life points of the face, the three divisions from top to bottom (forehead, mid face and lower face) which show the nervous, circulatory and digestive systems and the facial zones which represent the internal organs.

Each face is a map of the past, present and future. The past would be described as our inherited constitution, our mother’s pregnancy, our childhood and adolescence, with either difficulties or support in the family, and our early years as we start out in the world. The present reflects our health at the time of the reading. This is something we create ourselves. Coco Chanel said: Inappropriate diet, persistent negative emotions, drugs, toxins and stress all contribute to lines, congestion, and colors on the face. The facial zones affected are related to the internal organs under stress. In the same way that the feet are a microcosm of the whole in Reflexology, so the face shows the inner health status and the person behind the persona. The future is not predestined in Chinese philosophy: acts of compassion can lengthen one’s life, and taking greater care with health can resolve possible future symptoms. Sometimes destiny and the ups and downs of life can be improved by facial surgery? Correcting squints helps one’s fortunes during the years 35-40. However, nose jobs, which expose the nostrils and shorten the nose can affect the end of the 40s.

Balance and proportion are important in face reading, as in Chinese paintings. There needs to be harmony between the mountains (the yang element, represented in the face by the bones) and the rivers, (the yin element which is the soft tissue). Although a face may be considered beautiful by society, in face reading terms it may be too yin (upturned nose, large wide mouth, eyes too far apart, thin eyebrows). Many models have this look. In our language we have many expressions to describe character traits: pay through the nose, two faced, keeping one’s nose clean, chinless wonder? We may have forgotten how these came into a language in the first place, the mouth relates to communication, and the chin signifies determination, ambition and practicality. So, face reading can be used to sum up a person’s energies, to get a health read-out, to assess character, to help gain self knowledge and to plan for good health.

There are numerous ways to read a face in Chinese physiognomy: 3 Quarters, 8 Trigrams, 108 Spots, examining the shapes, the colors, the wrinkles and the moles, just to name a few. A master of face reader usually employs the combination of several techniques to gain multiple perspectives and perform cross-examination.

Following is a brief introduction to the 12 Houses method.
1. Fortune House (Fude Gong)
It gives an overview of your general fortune trend. An ideal Fortune House should be round, full and smooth with no visible marks, lines or scars. Flaws in these areas reflect problems in your life, which can be in the form of bad health, distressful relationships or money troubles.

2. Parents House (Fumu Gong)
It is associated with Heaven Luck; in this regard its state is quite a testimony to the situation that your parents were in and your relationship with them. A forehead that is wide, round and shinning speaks of a good family inheritance, a comfortable upbringing and early achievement, while a small, bony or disfigured one illustrates an uneasy childhood.

3. Career House (Guanlu Gong)
Again, being broad, round and smooth is the basic criteria to identify a good Career House. If on the top of that, you also have prominent cheekbones and protruding eyebrows, you shall have a great chance to achieve a great success in your chosen field.

4. House of Travel (Qianyi Gong)
If it is in any way disfigured with scars or deep lines, you might be better off saying put. Furthermore, jobs or businesses involving transportation, tourism or import/export are, understandably, not your best choice.

5. Life House (Ming Gong)
The key to your fortune is deposited here. Naturally, being smooth and shinny is ideal, which suggests a trouble-free life journey. If it is receded, dimpled or scared; or there are permanent horizontal lines between the brows; or eyebrows meet in the middle, you may face a bumping road ahead.

6. House of Siblings (Xiongdi Gong)
Eyebrows and the areas directly above them represent it, and it also oversees your relationship with your friends and colleagues. The state of your hair has a direct connection to the physical conditions of your parents at the time when you were conceived, which means it has a lot to do with your genetic make-ups. Brows that are dark, thick, long, smooth, orderly and located high above eyes indicate a healthy hormone level that gives rise to affection, calmness and courage. If they look sparse, thin, pale, short, or chaotic, or too close to eyes, or marked with a scar, you could be tormented by your own physical or emotional states.

7. Assets House (Tianzhai Gong)
Your eyes betray your intelligence and temperament, and the very quality of these dispositions plays important role in your asset acquisition endeavor. Good Asset Houses are constituted with eyes that are long with large pupils and clear whites, and up-eyelids that are broad and full. Deep-set or dazed eyes disclose dumbness, while recessed or narrow eyelids exhibit impatience. If the whites are colored with red streaks, and worse, if the streaks pass through a pupil, you should brave yourself for a severe storm when your financial aspect is concerned.

8. House of Marriage (Qiqie Gong)
Being full and smooth in appearance indicates a happy marriage. A receded House however rings alarm bell on extra marital affairs. If the area bears visible spots, scars, black moles or messy lines, your marriage could be in serious trouble due to some unscrupulous conduct.

9. House of Children (Ernu Gong)
This area is closely related to cerebellum and also governs your love and sex life, so again, being full and round is better than being flat or receded. Dim moles or slant lines across the area are especially undesirable, suggesting some problems regarding your own sex life or your children’s future development.

10. Health House (Jie Going)
If the House is broken or marked with horizontal lines, or if it is stained with spots, marks or discoloration, you shall pay extra attention to your health, especially your digester system.

11. Wealth House (Caibo Gong)
A nose that has high and straight bridge, big and round tip, full and fleshy wings, and invisible nostrils, not only indicates sound physical health, a positive mental attitude, also denotes success in career and abundance in wealth. On the other hand, a nose that is low, or crooked, pointed, or narrow, bony, or with contoured bridge, upturned tip, visible nostrils, reveal a problematic personality, a troublesome financial situation or a difficult career path. If blood vassals are clearly visible, or a dim blue color tones the surface, an illness or a money loss is on the way. When a nose turns bloody red, which is dubbed Fire in Lounge in Chinese physiognomy, it should be viewed as a serious warning sign - an impending disaster is near.

12. Popularity House (Nupu Going)
This House rules your relationship with your colleagues, subordinates or younger generations, and foretells your situation in your old age. When they are round and full, you can expect to enjoy your popularity among your followers. But if it sharps off, or appears crooked or bony, you probably should forget your dream about being a politician. And what’s more, you’d better prepare for self-support during old age.

Marks, spots, scars on, and even shapes of your face can change over time, meaning your fate can alter through the years. You can utilize your Man Power (your attitudes - good deeds, better learning and hard work) and the Earth Power (your environment - favorable Feng Shui) to neutralize the Heaven Power (your time of birth - what you have inherited from your parents and your previous lives). Ultimately, you are the real creator of your own fate. When you change your heart, you change your face; when you change your face, you change your fate.
